Would you rather have a little slap and tickle with Margot Robbie or Beryl the dinner lady from your school days?

BSK: "Ooh I'd have no chance with Margot so I'd play it safe and go for Beryl whose husband died last year and is still rebounding around the village so is more likely"

It's a hypothetical ffs.
What the ****? All I mean is go all out for the Cup. We might actually win it, with a bit of luck. There is 0% chance we will finish top 6.

And who the **** is Margot Robbie? But dear old Beryl... never mind the quality feel the width!

Huge game for us tonight. Sounds like there is some fatigue in the camp - lets hope they are firing on all cylinders come tonight.

Can't help but feel that the fixture schedule hasn't been kind to us. Brighton & Newcastle both get an extra day of recovery.

The probable last 8 looks daunting - us, Toon, Chelsea, Utd, Liverpool, City, Leicester and Coventry. This is the season that keeps on giving so with that in mind here is my wish list - win tonight (no ET), home to Toon in quarters, Coventry to play Leicester. We draw Coventry in the SF and then Utd in the final and thrash them 4-0 to make up for both league games this season and the fact that I hate them with a passion! Statue is erected to GON next to Sir Jack's!

The draw is at 7pm, so we will know who are opponents are in Round 6, should we get through, before we kick off tonight

Wolves v Coventry
Leicester v Newcastle
Man City v Liverpool
Chelsea V Man Utd

That would be perfect unless there are some major upsets tonight in which case

Wolves v Coventry
Southampton v Forest
Newcastle v Man City
Leeds v Leicester

Here are the ball nos -
we're no 6.
Pray for 3 Leicester or 7 Coventry.
Next best 1 Toon, 2 Chelsea/Leeds or 5 Forest/Utd.
Definitely do not want 4 Liverpool/Soton or 8 City.
Home draw would be good. Games on w/e of 16 March.

Tired players and injuries starting to mount up
3 games to win the cup first against Cov

Or another 12 games to perform in to try and get a Europe place that way

Have to look to play our strongest team in the cup even if we have to rotate the squad for a few league games

Coventry are not a gimme for those talking about Wembley. Mark Robins one of the best managers in the Championship and form table wise as good as the top three over the last 20 games.

Massive opportunity but it will not be easy at all.

I’d take the FA cup all day. Realistically I don’t think we have the squad or legs to go all the way but it will be exciting watching that’s for sure.

Do Liverpool away last game of the season to see Klopp off empty handed.

Then do United in the cup final a week later to see Ten Hag off empty handed.

And in doing so, secure Europa League football at the expense of 7th place Newcastle, seeing off Eddie Howe (also empty handed).

Perfect end to the season.

I don't really see why it needs to be an either/or.

The FA Cup would at most demand two extra games during the regular season, that's hardly a cause for huge distraction from our league matches or a reason to have to dramatically change the team.

We just keep going business as usual, trying to win every game we play. Ultimately, both winning the cup or finishing in the top 6, even top 7, are long shots anyway, but they should give the players the motivation to avoid the season just trailing off into nothingness.

You missed out doing Chelsea in the semi to see off Pochettino empty handed ;)
