That's another one marked off my bingo board.Who the **** are chaventry
Been to Coventry loads got friends that live there. If you've ever been to Coventry you will know exactly why they are often referred to in that way....
And another, only one more for a line. Was it flat at the Whorethrones?
Think people got in the pubs early cos it was a rare BCD. You need fans to have had a few beers for the atmosphere to buzz. Hopefully the pubs do a great trade and open early for this one. Looking forward to it!Was it flat at the Whorethrones?
ChorleyAnd another, only one more for a line.
I had what I thought at the time was an odd response from Fan Services the other day because I noticed my daughters 100 points hadnt been added for being member on top of the points earned so far from buying tickets.
The response said not to worry as they dont sell tickets decided by loyalty points anymore.
So maybe now Im thinking theres no staggered points windows as there is enough available tickets for all members?
Dont take this as an official line - still get in early if you can
How many for a full house? And another, only one more for a line.
Not another excuse for the atmosphere.....a quarter final of a cup the atmosphere should be electric regardless of the kick off time...12.15 kick off all for television FA Cup quarter-final: Wolves vs Coventry date and televised details revealed
Atmosphere will be so flat
Given that other posters have referred to them as the Chavs methinks not....Been to Coventry loads got friends that live there.
Then again got lots of mates in london who have never referred to it as ‘The smoke’ so maybe it’s a wickedism
Nah I reckon it's to maximize ticket sales and reduce admin for them. They better do loyalty windows if we get to Wembley mind. You’re telling me. Let’s hope it isNot another excuse for the atmosphere.....a quarter final of a cup the atmosphere should be electric regardless of the kick off time...
Ah ok thank youThink what they r saying is no loyalty point windows, so someone who's never been before can gt tkt same time as someone who has been to them all
The kick off wasn't moved, it was never set to start with, all the quarters were always going to be shown. Flat atmosphere for a full house quarter final at home? I don't think so.12.15 kick off all for television FA Cup quarter-final: Wolves vs Coventry date and televised details revealed

When they binned off the loyalty point system a few years ago they said at the time they’d still be used for the cup which I took to mean if we get to Wembley.Well thats beyond poor if so. Memberships are on sale still now so in theory u can buy a membership today have been to zero games and beat me to a ticket and I havent missed league or cup at home yet
Atmosphere will be amazing. Cov with 4,500 fans will be up for it and we’ll respond. Not another excuse for the atmosphere.....a quarter final of a cup the atmosphere should be electric regardless of the kick off time...
The team won't take it lightly. That's what matters.Awful lot of people on social media talking about who we play in the sem final, lot of disrespect to Cov…hope it doesnt come back to bite us.
Coz it was an away game. Had to stagger how season ticket holders applied.I thought there were loyalty points used for the Albion game?
Fixed that for you... I ended up one seat away from my own for the Brighton game for no obvious reason, go figure....Now working, trying to book my tickets. Tried 2 payment cards and both saying unauthorised. The ticketing system is UTTER AND COMPLETE CRAP based on this mornings experience
Depends where you liveFriday or Saturday evening would be best
Me too.The sites an abomination and I do tech for my job so it's not my side messing up.
Me too absolutely no problemsThink I must be the only one who's never had problems on the site, clicked link from email, straight to my reserved STs n just paid, I thought it was easy,
A few hiccups early on but having to navigate it for every home game I’m completely used to it now and have no issuesMe too absolutely no problems
I would have agreed with you until last night, when it took me 3 goes for it to accept my payment.Think I must be the only one who's never had problems on the site, clicked link from email, straight to my reserved STs n just paid, I thought it was easy,
Just my poor attempt at humour: I was implying that you were being a bit of a stuck record, because you'd mentioned about stayaway fans for Brighton a couple of times.Just googled what that means but couldn’t find, help…..what does it mean?
Oh ok can’t recall going on about stay away fans more than once, but happy to believe you on thatJust my poor attempt at humour: I was implying that you were being a bit of a stuck record, because you'd mentioned about stayaway fans for Brighton a couple of times.
It's fair comment mate. Safe trip home.Oh ok can’t recall going on about stay away fans more than once, but happy to believe you on that
However standby my intentions will be a full ground against Coventry even though it is the same price for a cup match against a championship side compared to a premier league team
For the avoidance of doubt I don’t like the stay away fans who moan about and use the excuse of ticket prices when the same fans will turn up for a match at the same prices
If this doesn’t make sense I apologise but Ive had too much to drink and on my way back from a very disappointing day sr Newcastle and it’s took me a lifetime to write this
Pelters expected but not bothered at all
I'd say Cov is just your archetypal English large town or small city. A place that boomed post-war with it's manufacturing industries, built loads of mediocre housing (both council and private) in sprawling suburbs, who have a weird accent and a bit of confusion about whether they're west or east Midlands. They also had town planners that did more to destroy the medieval city centre than the Luftwaffe, although as a modernism fan I quite like the pedestrianised centre. What did for them though was the collapse of British manufacturing and Thatcher, they were ****ed over like most of the rest of us. The cathedral(s) is/are my favourite building after the Catholic cathedral in Liverpool (Paddy's wigwam').If you've ever been to Coventry you will know exactly why they are often referred to in that way....
