Funny, but very true. It's a Wolves initiation nowadays to be Jeff Shi'd during a transfer window. Promised the world then the bag is empty come time to cough up. He's officially a Wolves manager now.
Funny, but very true.
I think someone should do a graph showing the faces of each of our managers through the window as it dawns on them they aye getting anyone.
First week they look like a starry-eyed kid, by the last week they look like a Man U era David Moyes at full time of another loss.
It's tragic, poor chapHe's still in denial thinking we'll get the 'plan b's' done. Give him a few more days.
‘Scoring a goal is like making love to a beautiful woman…’I thought it was a young Swiss Toni.
Maybe he's a great poker player and he's indicating to Chelsea that he wants the guy but we're out. We have the bargaining position here, if he doesn't leave they are paying his wages for the rest of the season.Yes. He used the words 'it's disappointing'.

I'd personally recall Chiquinho if we can?
I'm wondering if this is being said just to get the likes of Chelsea to accept a lower price.
From the same article - Now, after a meeting with the Wolves hierarchy on Tuesday, O’Neil has admitted the club’s ability to bring in top targets has worsened as they are priced out by parent clubs."The financial side of why, I’m not 100 per cent clear on. Financial fair play or the position of the club financially."
Ah the joys of a ‘quote’ out of context of a bigger quote to fit an agenda.Yes. He used the words 'it's disappointing'.
As long as he’ll read and do anything he sees on gaz’s iPad - it’s all goodWould be a shrewd loan.
Looks like Ron Burgundy though.
Good job then we're not short of them on the pitch.looks like we are short goals on paper
Was that Mendes? We learn and move on.Oh really? So we should sign more players like Guedes, Fabio Silva, and Patrick Cutrone?! Okay!
an excellent share.Ah the joys of a ‘quote’ out of context of a bigger quote to fit an agenda.
If you read the whole bit rather than just your selected two words it has a bit less impact. It’s disappointing because we felt we were making headway, but ultimately not doable.
“We had a meeting yesterday and it looks like they're not going to be doable financially for us, at this point. We're back to looking at other options that we might be able to do.
"It's disappointing firstly because we felt like we were making some headway on a couple, but it looks like they're not going to be doable.
"As I've been since you started asking me about the transfer window, I don't want it to be seen as a negative because the group we have has given us so much so far. I'm delighted to keep working with them.
"I'm not just going to sign anybody. It's not that we need a number nine so we'll take anyone we can get, we need to take people that deserve the opportunity to play for Wolves and are good enough to help the group.
"January is tricky and prices are sometimes inflated when clubs don't want to lose their good players. If we can't find ones that help us and I think are credible to play for Wolverhampton Wanderers, then we'll go with what we've got which is fine."
Finally some context!Ah the joys of a ‘quote’ out of context of a bigger quote to fit an agenda.

I said effective , so results ! Our priority has been a central attacker for at leat 6 months ( may be 4 years ).No disrespect but you seem to imply that there was no effective research. How do you know?
Is this view based on bias?
Or rusty zipper, the well known 80's porn star.Would be a shrewd loan.
Looks like Ron Burgundy though.
I’d suggest just 2 more wins will keep us up, but the way we’ve performed I expect a few more than thatFour more PL wins
Sorry, that’s all that matters in this financial ****show of a season
Not shooting the messenger but if that is the level we are shopping at we are in real yellow reduced labels at Lidl territory.https://x.com/jordruss7/status/1750652277386362912?s=46&t=CFjCLWqov75A52LoqvRXUw
