When you hear all the stories of the foreign players and how they have settled at the club, it's clear Moutinho and his wife are the off the pitch leaders (mum/dad) of the club.

Coady will defo be missed, but there are huge characters at the club that can take over and bloom. Neves will step up as Captain comfortably, João will be the main senior figure and players like Neto will bring the fun.

Guedes seems to be done, and looks to have had his media this afternoon. Would think will be announced this evening

Rumours of a second person having media as well, some say the person looks asian, others say not...

No updates on mgw today

Neto rumours have been increasing to arsenal but they are apparently a load of rubbish

Coady has been pictured in his car leaving everton signing a blue shirt

Thsts it for today so far
To be fair in that one post there’s more detail than over 400 pages of this thread

Coady has been a fantastic man around the place. The reasons for him being dropped from new formation well-rehearsed. We 'owe' him for helping drag this club around.

BUT - he is a very big presence in the dressing room. If he is not playing, he may be a focus for dissent. He is such a big and infectious character that he may have inhibited the development of some younger guys - not as footballers but as future leaders in the dressing room.

Looking for the positive in everything, this could be the making of Neves, Kilman & a few more. It allows THEM to be significant leaders within the group.
Collins looks talented, but I've always had reservations that we were adding more inexperience to an inexperienced back line.

Try Googling an image of Dario Osario. Like many Latin American people, he has 'indigenous' partly Asian looking facial features.

I'm convinced this would off happened with Coady, last summer had we got botman n Sanches over the line....coady has been fantastic but you can't force a system on a manager that he doesn't want to play.... obviously Bruno couldnt change last season cause the backing to do it either wasn't there or didn't happen...

Irrespective of whether it's the right or the wrong descision and only time will tell, you simply can not do that to your head coach.....

Thanks Connor you have been a pleasure.....

Maybe it's the heat, but this talk of the Hwangs, 1 & 2, is killing me.

Genuinely sad to see Coady exit. He owes us nothing. MGW for £40 mill? If (stress word if) it true, it's a no-brainer. Let him go.

Bruno having his hands tied behind his back last season re not the players he wanted may well have been a good learning curve and hold him in good stead for this season and the luxury of new signings

Has Coady 'gone'? I understood that it was a season-long loan with an option to buy. As we should know better than most; options mean sweet f.a.

Dario Osorio scored for his club yesterday. The rumours about him joining have gone a bit quiet.
Signing him and letting him stay there might be a good option tbf. Can't see him getting much of a kick with Guedes now in tow

Harlaand = £50m, MGW = £40m

The world has gone completely mad.

We should push to get as much (if not all) of that up-front as possible. They seem utterly desperate. Then we can queue up to offer our services to drive him there...
That argument doesn't hold up because the Haaland transfer fee wasn't because of the free market; it was because of a clause in his contract. The MGW transfer is in the free market because teams have to bid an acceptable amount for Wolves to accept. It's up to us when to accept a fee, for Dortmund they had no choice at 50m.

Sure they wont do a double signing - it will be Guedes on his own.

Then maybe Nico soon (if we can beat Valencia, Fiorentina and Rayo Vallencano to it). I think Ramos is the one they are waiting on, but that may take a few more weeks - and if we cannot do it they will go for somebody like Batshauyi.
