Good to see he’s been in the boozer having his leg seen to. Hopefully back soon.

The squad’s gonna look a lot more balanced in the coming weeks.

Good to see boozers managing to diversify to keep themselves afloat financially during the Pandemic, but who is doing these operations? Are barstaff or landlords/landladies actually well-qualified to do surgery on Premier League footballers, or have we just discovered the reason why Marçal always seems to take his time to return from injury??

On the plus side he does seem to come back from these injuries and be quickly up to speed and able to contribute.
A good player; I’d definitely keep him for next season (think he only had a two year contract anyway) and hopefully our excellent medical team can devise a way to help him be fit as much as possible.

No one is going to pay us for someone his age, with his injury record. He'll be around next season, intermittently, then let go. He was a cheap gamble so nothing really to worry about.

When you get to the age of 32 and keep needing ops etc you probably reach the stage where you call it a day, not worth keep going through that for a couple more years to play here and there.

I think Marcal was brought in to give us another option whilst Jonny recovered, save throwing RAN in week in week out or having to shoehorn a Saiss or Kilman into wing back.

Hopefully at the end of the season he will get a good break. Then with a full pre season behind him he could be fit and ready for next season.

I think they’ve been saying that about him for the past 5 seasons.

He’s made of glass.

Good player though!

Easy to do when it's not your job. A few more years at 35k a week plus is not to be sniffed at.

Unfortunately his injury record over several years now would say otherwise.

Looks like a good player but held together by Fisher price plastic and masking tape.

If he was a horse, he'd now be sticking paper pictures down in a nursery class...
Shocking injury record even before joining us, as for short term cover, he could even manage short term.
Pay him off because if he starts 15 games before end of next season I'd be shocked, maybe even play in 15 games above 20 min a game.

He is a quality player, I vote we hang onto him and use him as and when he is available.
