Remember all those years ago in a Semi against Arsenal? Oh how we would have loved to have had such an embarrasment of riches that Steve Claridge was up front with Bully and Keano cooling their heels on the bench...

It struck me that after we took the lead there was a lack of clarity about what each player's role was. Who was LB - H. Bueno ? Doherty ? Certainly wasn't RN. Was Doherty supposed to be playing more centrally , a sort of supplementary CH to deal with all the crosses we were anticipating coming in ? Who was supposed to be supporting Semedo - he had players running in behind him and Bidwell coming up behind delivering a series of dangerous crosses.
Previously we've seen subs come on with little notes which presumably explained the new roles of each player. This time there was nothing. Don't blame the iPad, blame GON's broken pencil.

When GON signed, didn't some Bournemouth fans say something about them often throwing leads away when GON was their manager? Seem to recall something along those lines. And we often do seem confused when actually in the lead. Or having drawn level. (eg Sheff U, Man U) .

Something we need to sort out if we want to make the step up to top 7. Fair enough, we've won some late, and held on in others. But those key matches where we've been ahead or level late on, only to throw it away (and always exactly how you describe, looking confused) could be the difference between 7th and 12th. As well as we'd now be in the FA cup semi finals.
