Arsenal hero Santi Cazorla has claimed that Mikel Arteta has a player in his squad now who reminds him of Aaron Ramsey.
The Spaniard left Arsenal on a free transfer back in 2018 but is still adored by everyone at the Emirates.
Cazorla was just a joy to watch every time he got on the ball, and in Arsene Wenger‘s beautiful system, he mesmerised everyone whenever he played.
Now 39, Cazorla is still playing at Real Oviedo, and the midfielder has had his say on Arsenal and some of the players at the club.
One claim that Cazorla has made has really caught our eye.

Mikel Arteta has built a phenomenal team at Arsenal over the years.
The Gunners were a completely different side when Santi Cazorla was at the club. They had great players then too, but the current team is just a level above.
That’s why Arsenal came so close to winning the Premier League title last season and are in with a chance of going all the way this time.
The Gunners have made some excellent signings in recent seasons, but one man in particular seems to have caught Cazorla’s eye – summer signing Declan Rice.
Arsenal signed the England midfielder for a club-record fee last year, and he has been one of their best players this term.
Rice is an unbelievable player and is good enough to be compared to many great defensive midfielders of the previous generations.
However, Cazorla has now compared him to a former Arsenal player who was more renowned for his prowess in the other end of the pitch – Aaron Ramsey.
Cazorla told The Guardian: “Declan Rice reminds me of Aaron Ramsey, appearing everywhere, a brutal player. Arsenal are clear candidates for the league.”
Aaron Ramsey was one of the most talented players at Arsenal at one point, but injury issues stopped him from fulfilling his potential.
The Welshman, as Cazorla suggested above, could run for days and appeared everywhere on the pitch. He was incredible when he was in form, and there is one trait of his that Declan Rice can and should add to his game.
The former West Ham man is up there with the best in the world as a number six. Rodri is perhaps the only one who is slightly better than him.
The one thing Rice can add to his game, however, is goals. Yes, he has improved a lot in that department this season, but if he can learn how to make those late runs into the box that Ramsey used to do all the time, he will become the most complete midfielder on the planet.
We’re sure Arteta will be working on that with Rice behind the scenes at Arsenal.
