Billy Bingham RIP

Billy Bingham was the best manager that Northern Ireland ever had, and who can forget about that famous victory over Spain in the 1982 World Cup.

R.I.P.

Thoughts and prayers to all his family and friends at this sad time

Only remember him as a manager.
Did a fantastic job with Northern Ireland

RIP Billy

A quality player and manager with a massive contribution to the game.

RIP Billy, you did a great job for the sport!

Fantastic manager for NI - he really made the very best of the limited talent at his disposal. RIP

He played for a lot of clubs. IIRC he was in the Luton team that lost to Forest in the 1959 Cup Final. Also, at the end of his career, he had a purple patch playing for Everton. I think he won a Championship medal when they won the league in 62-3. He scored against us at Molineux that season when we lost for the first time in game 12. It was literally a top of the table clash! Good memories of Billy
