Benefit of Silva's Loan v First Team Striker (hindsight is wonderful)

Considering how Silva played for us previously, there was no reason to think he would have been any different this season……..none.
He didn’t drink any magic scoring elixir in the off season.

Yes he’s playing well for a non PL side and hopefully he improves for when he returns.

This. He's scoring but where he is now is loke playing for an Old Firm side in Scotland... not that difficult. He wasn't ready, despite his fabled 'movement', and should benefit from a spell banging them in.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, we weren't to know the new lad would only manage 40 mins before getting crocked!

People talking about loaning out Silva as a mistake. I don’t share that view as he wasn’t scoring anyway.
May as well have played Bonatini …….much of a muchness.

However, Silva might become a fantastic player…….buying him might prove to be a shrewd investment.
