Intro
London Wolves are historically one of Wolverhampton Wanderers most famous supporters clubs, and an exemplary role model for many clubs which formed since 1966.
Members were mostly teenagers in 1966/67, travelling by coach and train to home and away matches, following Wolves around the country in the old Second Division.
Wolves Secretary Jack Howley recognised their dedication. Allowing free admission, allocating a corner of the old North Bank where members jumped in, to much applause.
In those early days, entry was through the old Waterloo Road Stand, out of the tunnel, and around the pitch to the North Bank. A gesture fondly remembered to this day.
Fifty odd years later, little has changed. Original members follow Wolves together, as they always have done. All a bit older now, season ticket holders, seated at Molineux.
As London Wolves move into the 2020s, London and South-East based Wolves fans are encouraged to get in touch, and join this friendly, active club following the Old Gold.
