What do people think now? So many were lording him early on in the season as being our midfield answer. As I said then and still feel now, he is vastly overrated, very pedestrian, and no midfield engine. Yes he has a silky touch but not good enough IMO. Most Spurs fans agree.

Since he returned to White Hart Lane he has been on bench duty at best for the majority of the time, Jenas, Carrick, Davids are still top of the pecking order in central mid and he looks set to be in the same situation next season.
