    Fifty years ago today

I was at White Hart Lane, Tottenham, watching us draw the UEFA Cup Final second leg 1-1, with a rare David Wagstaffe goal. We lost 3-2 on aggregate. I paid a tout £1-50 for a 50p ticket to get in the ground to see us. Just where did all those 50 years disappear so quickly to..??

    A horse called Dougan

Runs today in the 3-30 at Windsor. 16-1 at the moment, got to be worth a wee punt. Presumably named after our esteemed number nine, it is owned by Shropshire Wolves and sports gold and back silks.
