I’m not usually keen on 352 but with Hwang and Cunha out plus all 3 midfielders deserving to play I’d go with this.
All the midfielders are capable of getting forward and RAN could play very advanced.

Also wouldn’t be against S.Bueno keeping his place.

Trouble with Santi, can you really argue dropping either of Dawson or Kilman at the moment?

I’ve got it in my head neither Dawson or Bueno would suit killmans rcb role?
So it’s a straight choice between the 2 for the central position.
Maybe I’m wrong on that, but I wouldn’t drop Killman anyway.
You could move Killman to the left but then that’s a lot of disruption to the 11.

I'm the same as you, think Kilman suits the RCB well & I'd hate to see Dawson or Santi there.

Think Yerson could be an option when he returns though.

I genuinely wouldn't drop Toti either. He's near irreplaceable in this system.

This absolutely should be the team. Our only other option is to play JRB in lieu of Doyle and play at front 3 but even then we have no one who can play the central striker role, and I include Fraser in that.

I personally could drop Dawson. I thought Santi was exactly what we need last night. You hardly noticed him. No jumping in unnecessarily, no last ditch tackles, no unnecessary fouls. He didn't need to do any of that. It was just calm, assured defending. Right place, right time, winining the ball cleanly when it was needed.
I think Dawson is a bit of a scruffy defender nowadays and actually puts us under pressure sometimes. Last night was the best defensive team performance I have seen from us this season.

How would people feel about a H. Bueno/RAN left side? Just thinking about how to steal some minutes...Trippier is going to be leggy.

The fact Newcastle usually play with 3 central midfielders probably enhances the case for us to use 3 too.

I agree he should get chances, maybe better to use him from the bench though rather then start him?
I would love to see Fraser start ahead of Bellegarde but I think we all know GON won’t
Bellegarde offers us very little at the moment, although he did do very well for the Lemina goal last night

We’ve got a couple of key players running close to a 2-match ban for accumulating 10 yellows. Lemina on 8 & Semedo (and Dawson) on 7. They need protecting to ensure they are available for cup games. 6 league games until the cut-off, so those on 7 really should be ok.

We've all heard of England's World Cup winning 'Wingless Wonders'.

Now we have our own 'Strikerless Sensations'.

Sa

Kilman---Dawson---Toti

Semedo---Lemina---Gomes---Ai-Nouri

Sarabia---Neto---Bellegarde

It'll be 3-4-3 again on paper, but I think we will shift it to more of a 4-4-1-1, with Sarabia in the hole, and Ait Nouri, Bellgarde and Neto offering significant counter-attacking threat.

Having no number 9 is harder for defenders as no out ball to relieve pressure. We'll have to play it through the middle when we do have it, but soak up a hell of a lot of pressure & try to nick one with our pace. In Gazball we trust.

I wonder who will come into the squad with Hwang out? Presume it will be Noha Lemina? Tough ask for him but I was thinking of Sarabia as a 10 and Neto and Lemina breaking forward with out and out pace. Likely that Bellegarde will play but he will have to do far more in this game if we are to get any sort of result. Neto cant do it on his own.

Another though is RAN in attack and Bueno back in the side. I would prefer RAN where he is though. It would be amazing if one of the younger lads gets some sort of chance and did well. I think we will need to be using some of them soon with Hwang and Cunha out. Just shows why the club should have signed cover in January and not leave it till the last minute. The cover in attack just isnt strong enough and ONeil and we all know it. Really hope this isnt going to cost us in what has been an excellent season so far.

Don’t expect much from this one. Anything would be a bonus

Would like to see a different approach to their wingers

Would not surprise me if we start Bouby

The striker selection will be interesting Doherty over Bellegarde for me
