Im one of the few on here who admires Brentford and Frank.

As a published football historian, I have spent a lot of time studying English football history. I was very pleased when Brentford got back into the top flight as they were before WW2. Sadly, their ageing squad were relegated just after the war and it has taken them a long time to get back to the top flight. It would be great for the Grimsby fans if they could do the same, but I can't see that happening for a long time, if ever.
