If that's how you respond to a rumour, maybe, respectfully, you need some time off football forums? You are forgiven, thoughWouldn’t it be better to wait until it’s confirmed that he has signed than saying how happy you are with the rumour and clickbait….don’t we have a thread for that? Forgive me for being annoyed that a new thread is started for a rumour …monitoring, interested , negotiating , competing for, masturbating.
To be fair to him he was the first to bring up the Collins to Wolves earlier in the window..He knows absolutely **** all
It feels long enough.Matt Doherty wasn’t that long ago!
jayses, 2008. Times going too fast.If completed by the way, Collins would become Ireland’s most expensive ever player, beating Robbie Keane’s move to Liverpool in 2008
To be honest, watching his highlights reel, he tends to celebrate goals with a flying knee-slide so fingers crossed, eh?Excellent news.
Now we'll just need to wait 9 months for him to recover from his customary ACL injury and our defence is sorted.
Homegrown?£20m is a lot for a kid from a relegated team.
Value for money considering Newcastle got Botman for about £30m?
He's not British. Not really, always pay premium for British talent, need to bring our home gown quota up, plus already played in the premier league. So win win on this side
Botman is more of a risk, will he settle and adapt to the league?
New Yank owners loaded debt to buy the club onto the club and owe the previous owners a big sum (£60M l think) this summer. How is that SG? Is it debt taken down with them? I don't recall a massive spend in recent times to avoid relegation - or have I been sleeping?
If it is, I'm surprised he still has the energy to type.If that's how you respond to a rumour, maybe, respectfully, you need some time off football forums? You are forgiven, though
Cheers for that. They took out a large loan which has a clause which triggers repayment this year if they are relegated from the PL. Basically their entire parachute payment is swallowed by the loan repayment due because of relegation.
A journalist called Jason O’Connor has said that Collins has a release clause of 20 million. Apparently he is always spot on when it comes to info about Irish players. He knows absolutely **** all

Prossibly a relegation clause?Burnley fans have been mentioning an Irish reporter who says the release clause for him is 20.5 mill, they've said the reporter is reliable too and are arguing over why the clause was so low
But we haven’t got him have we ?Burnley fans are fuming at the price we've got him for
It is indeed! Is this the bit where we cross our fingers and hold our breath having already gushed about how happy we are?
I honestly know absolutely nothing about him which is odd as he is British and plays in our Country ,but the signs are all positive. Even neutrals and opposition fans are saying he is a good defender
Is he quick?
Is he going to turn us into a back four outfit??
Either way.. COME ON SCOTT AND THE COMMITTEE.. RAISE A GLASS TO RISKING BANKRUPTCY
But we haven’t got him have we ?
And he can score goalsHe's irish.
He is pretty quick.
Can play in a back 4 for sure and has experience doing so but has played very well right of a CB 3 too. Great at ball carrying , excellent in the air and has recovery pace.
As promising as this sounds I've learned not to allow myself to get excited until he is unveiled as a signing. Is this the bit where we cross our fingers and hold our breath having already gushed about how happy we are?
Prossibly a relegation clause?
I think that it's the fact that Percy's reported the interest that's got people's hopes up as so many consider him as good as it gets in terms of accuracy.Based on Percy’s comments, I’d say he’s on the line, we are reeling him in, but he’s not in the net yet…
