has given notice on his current abode.

moving house or moving club?

i'd guess it's the latter.

i'll be sad to see him go if that is the case, great squad player IMO.

An international player in a top international team. Worth a bob or two in the collection tin for next year .

I’m amazed his Mixer critics haven’t commented he’s moving closer to the Poorthorns which is what Mr Bruce wants!

Agree with your last sentence btw.

He’s a good squad member and decent defensive midfielder or centre-half.

Asking him to play as an advanced midfielder in a 5-3-2 doesn’t help us or him (would be perfect for MGW though).

If selling him for £15-£20m gives us more chance of keeping Neves then so be it.

If we get £10m I’d be amazed. Just hope Lazio don’t watch him.

A lot of players played today like they knew they wouldn't be at the club next year.
Suspect Donk won't be the last...

No point having experienced pros in the squad anyway as it blocks players like Cundle getting a chance. According to football genius Scott Sellars.

Ran his course now, won't significantly improve. Cheers for the appearance here and there

Very poor when you compare to how many and himself performed in the villa game

Dendoncker off to Lazio maybe

He played like he knew he was leaving today.
Couldn't be bothered to charge down Bissouma's shot for the third goal. He isn't supremely talented at the best of times but if his application dries up, he is very ordinary indeed. A player who hasn't really improved since we signed him; I would happily take our money back.

Glad to see the back of him and leaves with my best wishes and thanks, but break into a sweat and have visions of Ian Cartwright when I think who the numpties in charge may replace him with

Probably another winger of the Portuguese variety who takes 12 months to bed in.

Unlikely to be a fan of either committing to 50/50 tackles, or carbs.

Awful waste of a shirt.

Assume he’ll just jog along behind the moving van…then when he’s helping unload it pass half of his furniture to his neighbour by mistake

Another thread be to merge to already 1st page existing "Dendoncker most important player" one!
I'm sure the OP didn't finish his sentence............"Dendoncker most important player to upgrade".

Oh dear Bill, sorry but not your finest moment on here!

I strongly suspect that he is doing exactly what he has been told to.
What, be negative and boring, and don't tackle or pass.

Yeah, I'm sure that is what a manager wants from his midfielders.

Sorry for the rather sarcastic response, but I can't believe you are still defending this blokes performances.

Nice lad, don't get me wrong, but 80% of his performances are substandard. Whoever replaces him, whether better or worse, doesn't change the fact that he needs upgrading. A fresh start elsewhere may help him too.

The Chapman brothers....
They were a bit later after we’d fallen off a cliff. Cartwright and Rudge at one time were hailed as successors to the likes of Hibbitt and Carr.
