Remember they had been tracking him for a long time. So I guess that whoever scouted him is a good friend of Sellars. If Hwang thinks he will be anwhere as good as Son it is highly unlikely at his age.

HT - disappointing, after a quiet bright first 10 minutes and a good **** from Jonny we've slipped a little bit into game management mode. Nothing working in their half for 20 mins now

Poor, unimaginative and overly hesitant performance against an opponent who is fortunately also poor, unimaginative and overly hesitant.

Lage spends a lot of time talking about wanting European football and then fields players like Hwang who are nowhere near the level needed to achieve it. It would be nice to imagine we will make changes at the break, but we seldom do. Usually it is a countdown until the opponent scores before we decide to do anything different.

Hwang’s going down everytime he’s touched. I’d look at switching for Neto.

H/T - we are in control but just need that cutting edge. On a really positive note, we have actually kept the ball for a nano second after our own throw in.... mostly because Burnley don't put any pressure on. Semedo and Jonny getting into some useful positions but we take too long to execute a shot as we seem to want to walk the ball into the net.

Burnley are doing a Burnley...hoofing it forward hoping someone gets onto the second ball. As Championship as it comes but at present, they go above Everton. We need to win this though so Neto has to come on at 60 mins as he can unlock this defence.

Bit gutted for Jonny, he's been playing with 'one arm behind his back' on the left imo. Having to cut inside to use his right, takes away from his excellent playing on the righthand side recently.

I usually think Dendoncker is overly criticised. He's been very poor today though.

We look good in dispatches but the final ball very much lacking.

We are clearly the better footballing team but it's not as if we've been banging on the door
