Only Supergran and Don Corleone have gone against Wolves; only Boon2 thinks Fulham, the Man City of the Championship, will take something against Man City, the Fulham of the Premier League; 21 players think that Frank Everton's Lampard will kick off with a win against Frank Brentford's Thomas; Frank's Lincoln is the only player who think Cardiff will score against Liverpool; and only Frank, Jrpb-3 and myself fancy Coventry to get something against Southampton. If you're going to claim your first weekly win, then you might as well smash it - and Frank Lincoln didn't just hold on to his overnight lead, he extended it so far that the rest of us mere mortals would need a telescope to spy his hypersonic **** disappearing out into the cosmos of success. Frank hit three correct scores yesterday, one of them doubled - an impressive punt on Man City's 4-1 drubbing of Fulham - and he followed that up today with another 10-pointer for Liverpool, scoring in 11 of 15 fixtures to hit 46 points, his best return of the league so far.

NevesWolf missed last week but returned with a bang in second place with 27 points, whilst SuperGran - self-proclaimed champion of the common plebs - hit two correct scores in third with 26. SuziQ was the only other player to get two scores spot on, and Miniwolf broke the Hall of Fame curse by finishing in the top 10. To put Frank's achievement into perspective, 16 out of 29 players this round didn't record a single correct score to his four. A champagne performance.

Jrpb-3 leads Chris H 8-4, while Essex is 13-10 ahead of Boon2 in a tight contest where many predicted results are similar - it could just be one or two key games and points that decide it. Chris H is potentially in the awkward position of hoping for a West Brom win to improve his standing, but tomorrow's game between Palace and Norwich is the massive swinger in both ties...

Thanks Wish I could repeat my cup form in the league, seem to have managed to pull out a couple of against form results in the last two rounds, hope it continues to the final
