Arfield is better going forward, Johnson is more a defensive mid so will suit playing without the ball.

Cavalini is much better in the air than David and probably better suited to holding the ball up playing in what appears to be a 3-6-1.

Cav is great. I wouldn't take him out.

David has played wing with Cav playing forward most games.

Larin is the issue. Larin literally dominates minnows and misses sitter after sitter against decent teams.

Larin is over-rated. One good season in MLS and it went to his head. I think Herdman is protecting Davis just as he did with Davies.

Larin started incredibly in Turkey and then died off. Not even sure if he's getting game time anymore.

Canada looked so much better since they added a few of their best players to the lineup.

David was a huge part of the goal. Well worth the hype I gave him despite blowing another chance.

Much better game, Canada can be proud their boys got stuck in ...a lot ... but Mexican class really won the day , Raul had a good game , was a bit worried with some of the challenges but came through unscathed.

Decent game. Raul had a quiet game by his standards, El Tri's second goal was class, and Canada offered a decent threat going forward and deserved their goal.

Alvarez looked OK. Be interesting to see how he fares against the US and if Wolves followup reported interest in him.

Just need Raul to come out of this tourney uninjured...
