Harry Kane became Spurs top scorer yesterday “in the Premier League era”.

It’s sad to think that, in the event of Wolves being promoted this season, a fair chunk of Bully’s goals will be scratched off as he scored them before 1992.

So how many goals does Jota have to score before a sixty year old Gary Lineker announces on MOTD that he is Wolves top scorer in the Premier League era?

But none of Bully's or Jota's goals (so far) were scored in he PL, so they don't count anyway according to Sky

I would guess you’re right, I was being a little mischievous. Probably only applies to clubs that have been in the Premier League since it’s conception.

It does seem a bit disingenuous not to mention Jimmy Greaves, Bobby Smith and Martin Chivers who all scored at least 50 more goals for Tottenham than Kane has managed so far.

In terms of Wolves, our top scorer is Fletcher with 22 followed by Doyle with 18.

Anything that happened before 1992 doesn't count according to Sky, so pathetic the way they go on about it. No doubt next year we will enter the "VAR Premier league Era" or some *******s
