Hope it's Davis in the middle and Edwards on the wing, Davis looks pants when shoved out wide (not that Divvy Dave is much better there)

i know we've listed Hammill, but in a home fixture like this I would have liked to see him playing to see what he can do.

One look at that bench confirms we definitely need some new signings....surely Hammill & Milijas must be better options than the Egg!

Here's hoping for a goal for Doyle in a Wolves win today.

I think (or rather, hope ) that Dave is on the wing.

Its not either of thems specialist position. Perhaps when we are forced to play players out-of-position they should be cut some slack. Be grateful that they will sweat blood for the cause!
Next week i imagine we will be spoilt for options in this position :D

And if we played wingers I'd agree

But look at how Swansea are using Routledge and Dyer. Conventional thinking would say they were average (by Prem standards) out and out wingers. But their movement is so varied for Swansea, popping up all over the place they look electric.

Someone like Hammill (not sure his attitude is right) likes to cut in anyway, so could be effective, floating around.

Its strange really but to play that style you dont have to be so technically gifted (obviously it helps) but most of the success come from the 'off the ball' movement. If you look at what each player does in each of there passing moves then you will see that most of it is fairly straight forward and clearly in the reach of most average standard footballers. It appears that the main coaching skill is concentrated on when player dont have the ball.
I am hope Stole can get us playing something similar but with a slightly more direct style, here's hoping :D

Not strictly true, their are Championship games on a certain pay site today. Unfortunately not us though.

Dyer was brilliant today. If Jarvo is worth 10million, this guy is worth more.

Yeah my point, is more that Davis and Edwards aren't as effective when not playing centre mid, not just becuase they're not out and out wingers, but because they don't have much in the way of speed, allusive movement, or trickery.
