Liverpool still have a seven-point gap to catch rivals Manchester United in fourth having also played a game more.
Jurgen Klopp’s men now welcome Fulham 46 days after its original scheduled date in March 2022.
However, it was postponed due to the Cottagers’ 2-1 defeat to Man United in the FA Cup quarter-finals and now finally will take place.
The match will not be shown on TV this week because the original fixture was due to take place in the 3pm blackout in English football.
Broadcast rules dictate that a rearranged fixture cannot be added to the schedule if the original game was not picked for television coverage.
The same situation unfolded with Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Wolves in March.
And once again talkSPORT 2 will have you covered for the Reds’ clash with Fulham with EXCLUSIVE live radio commentary.
Commentary will come from Joe Shennan and former England striker Dean Ashton.

Liverpool last faced Fulham on the opening day of the season, twice coming from behind to rescue a 2-2 draw.
Aleksandar Mitrovic scored twice either side of a goal from Darwin Nunez on his Premier League debut.
Mohamed Salah rescued a point for Liverpool but the poor result was a sign of things to come during a difficult start to the new campaign.
Liverpool next were held to a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace before suffering a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in their worse start under Klopp.
The Merseysiders have now eventually found some momentum after their recent winning streak which they’ll hope to continue against Fulham.
