Been our issue for a long time, new manager, new style of play maybe, but largely the same players. So who will be our top scorer ?

It really isn't largely the same players. Silva is the guy who has been with us the longest forwards wise. Cunha has had 6 months here Sasa 12 months and 45 minutes of football. Between those three I think one will get double figures and the others 6-8.
I'm really looking forward to this season with the potential prospect of a Silva and Cunha front 2 emerging.

If Kaladjic stays fit he'll get >10 easily I reckon. If Silva is played consistently I think he could do the same. There's also every chance neither will have much of a season and we'll be relegated. COMB!

If GON starts Hwang in a front 2 on Monday.

Then I know he's a genius.

We don’t know if Sasa or Silva will score enough goals……heck, we don’t even know if Silva will still be here.
And will Podence still be here?

Therefore, I‘m still hoping that somehow, we land a great goalscorer before the window closes.

Half of the votes for Fabio let’s hope he stays

Then 15% for Hwang who has goals in him and then Sasa most popular I guess settling in and staying fit being his challenge

Creativity as called out will be a step on required. Matteus and Sarabia being two I’d expect to have decent stats in this regard.

I guess most will go with the poster boy Silva, I am sure he will get a few (if not sold) but my money is on Hwang. He does a lot of hard running and that will appeal to O'Neil so I think he will get lots of game time.

We have to expect Nunes, Neto, Silva, and maybe even Podence if he is back in the fold to get a few. I hope so or we are well and truly stuffed.

Hwang got my vote too.

He has consistently scored, if he can get over his injury problems and nail down a role in the team either as a sub or in a two up front perhaps then I can see him making double figures.

Would of been close last year without his dodgy hamstring hope he's over that.

Should be him and Silva battling to be up top with Cunha behind the creator.

Hwang has consistently scored - three or four goals a season.

If he’s our top scorer at the end of the season then we’ve been relegated

I’ve gone Cunha, I think he’s going to play more regularly than Fabio/Sasa/Hwang, plus he’ll be in penalties I reckon.

Assuming they’re all still here for the full season… If Sasa gets and stays fully fit, him, if not Fabio. Think Sasa is the more instinctive poacher, and Fabio the more rounded forward.

Seen no evidence since last Jan that anyone in the team will get double figures or even close, unless major style in play we won't break the 30 barrier, we struggled last season and have lost neves and possibly podence our 2 top scorers. At a push I'll say sarabia with 6 maybe matched by hwang.

Two or three bookies have a market on this, and I've had a tenner on Cunha with Hills at 4/1.
Reasons? I think he'll be on the pitch far more than Sasa or Fabio. And based on the Celtic game, it looks as though he'll be the new penalty taker.

I believe there are goals in this team if we play in a positive way. Sasa, Hwang, Silva can get goals. Hwang has been poorly utilised in my opinion. So has Podence. They will get goals if we play attacking football and ask them to get into the box instead of staying wide and defending deep.
Neto, Sarabia, Cunha, Gomes, Traore, lemina, Dawson, Doherty will weigh in with a useful number in sum.

We will surprise a lot of people, as long as our game plan isn't to consistently pass the ball backwards and play it around our own penalty area in a misguided attempt to suck teams in, and put ourselves under constant pressure.

They should be able to create for each other. Also, maybe Nunes could help out. Given how much that lot all cost, they should be able to do more than stand in the box waiting to be spoon fed open goals. Even Haaland goals require a lot of hard work and ability from him. Few tap ins.

one would hope that all on that list should get a few, add Doc to the mix too. At least one of Sasa, Silva of Cunha should be looking at double figures, maybe 5 from the other 2 and 4 or 5 from Hwang. We ought to be able to get into the 40s at least with what we have

I like the cut of your gib, but I reckon at least double that for Sasa and a few more for Silva and Nunes, with well over 70 goals this season...

Those mushrooms on toast this morning were magic....
