I may be a bit naive but doubt Neves is that interested in the big money, he's going to want to go somewhere he can push for winning one the big leagues and play CL football surely?Villa could offer a better contract than we could

They maybe could doesn't mean he would want to go there....Villa could offer a better contract than we could

Love that thoughtImagine the "we've got Neves" when we play Fulham first home game of the season after he signs his new deal. That thought is going to get me through this window.
This 100%. Family first, career second, money third. Never underestimate the power of the wife and family.Mostly I would think your right but I would also add in family stability which is important to most men with kiddies.
If Neves wants to win things he’ll want to go to Barca or United.
sign the deal you wonderful man you
if Barcelona sell de Jong they buy neves only thing i see happening
Exactly, he and his family could stay exactly where he is now, get more money, probably play in a team that would allow him to shine more, negotiate a release clause so he can still go if a big team comes in for him.Mostly I would think your right but I would also add in family stability which is important to most men with kiddies.
Barca ... Maybe. But Real and Atletico look stronger teams, I think the Barca bubble may have popped for Real domination for a good few years. If Neves wants to win things he’ll want to go to Barca or United.
Dead right. He's loved here, 100% starts every game, big money per week, and him and the family are settled. As you say put a release clause in and it would be a no brainer to stay. Buy Nunes and there's a chance of Euro qualifying next season.Exactly, he and his family could stay exactly where he is now, get more money, probably play in a team that would allow him to shine more, negotiate a release clause so he can still go if a big team comes in for him.
Why wouldnt he?
Unfortunately I agree, as playing in a team that plays on the front foot would allow him to really show his best attributes.Exactly, he and his family could stay exactly where he is now, get more money, probably play in a team that would allow him to shine more, negotiate a release clause so he can still go if a big team comes in for him.
Why wouldnt he?
Villa aren't going to spend 50m on a player then put a release clause in his contract for other clubs to buy him just wouldn't happen... Plus how much would the release clause be?Exactly, he and his family could stay exactly where he is now, get more money, probably play in a team that would allow him to shine more, negotiate a release clause so he can still go if a big team comes in for him.
Why wouldnt he?
United not winning a trophy in the next 5 years is a bet I would very happily make for a few quid…..If Neves wants to win things he’ll want to go to Barca or United.
About £131kAfter tax…. so what’s that a week?
if Patricio / Moutinho on 100k then surely we’ve gone north of that to try and hang on to Ruben - I’d guess 125k per week
Jonny and Bueno?Mdboro in talks to sign Ryan Giles, on loan, according to reports on twitter. I thought he would be competition for RAN now Marcal has gone.

Nunes might be what persuades himI may be a bit naive but doubt Neves is that interested in the big money, he's going to want to go somewhere he can push for winning one the big leagues and play CL football surely?
If he wants to win our hearts he'll stay.If Neves wants to win things he’ll want to go to Barca or United.
and any club would if it allowed them to get that player who makes the difference and gets them into Europe and opens up a “working relationship” between them and a club who have/produce quality players.Villa aren't going to spend 50m on a player then put a release clause in his contract for other clubs to buy him just wouldn't happen... Plus how much would the release clause be?
Also team that allows him to shine more? They finished below us last season and haven't done anything of note since they came back up apart from spend **** loads of money...
What finances the rest of the build if he stays?Nunes might be what persuades him
Again I'm probably being naive but I think he'd rather stay here than go to Villa for a few quid more, he's settled and happy here, he has as much chance of shining here as at Villa.Exactly, he and his family could stay exactly where he is now, get more money, probably play in a team that would allow him to shine more, negotiate a release clause so he can still go if a big team comes in for him.
Why wouldnt he?
Given the choice, if it is one, Nunes or Palinha (so)?
Just because a team finishes lower doesn’t mean it won’t allow a player to shine more.Villa aren't going to spend 50m on a player then put a release clause in his contract for other clubs to buy him just wouldn't happen... Plus how much would the release clause be?
Also team that allows him to shine more? They finished below us last season and haven't done anything of note since they came back up apart from spend **** loads of money...
If Fulham sign Palhinha then i think it's nailed on Ruben stays and we sign Nunes. Palhinha was Ruben's replacement 100%.I'd go for Nunes, seems to me more of a player that we need, strong and mobile.
TotiAlso how does Saiss get replaced?
Heard Jota still really misses the club and area and he's banking the major trophies left right and centre!Dead right. Maybe it won't be so much a rebuild, more like a small repair job. The same starting XI, with Seferovic, Cundle and Bueno to provide options off the bench. What finances the rest of the build if he stays?

Love my music mate. Only just started playing drums, 6 months in. I'm 57 lol. Wished I'd have played as a kid. I love it. Got a yamaha electronic kit. Likes rock, punk , indie etc .You have good taste…

Some of your proposed sale prices look wildly optimistic to me. Ronan will probably go to a Scottish team and prices there do not reach the million mark unless it is the Old Firm buying "experience". I think we will snatch the hands off anyone (C'mon Leeds!) Who is still prepared to offer 20m for Adama. Cutrone is only worth 3m in Fantasy Football ...need I go on?Sign nunes - 45m

Jota celebrated his birthday in Tettenhall, not Liverpool.Heard Jota still really misses the club and area and he's banking the major trophies left right and centre!
Also, he isn't going to Villa under any circumstances. Its not 100% Ruben leaves. He loves the club and is very settled. If a move comes in that moves his career forward and works for the club he will go, if not he will stay.
Jonny and Bueno?
