No doubt PGMOL will unveil a statue of the tool at Stockley Park as a retirement present
Statues are expensive; Would be cheaper to just use a taxidermist! No doubt PGMOL will unveil a statue of the tool at Stockley Park as a retirement present
Almost criminal he is still getting paid to officiate games at ANY level, absolute incompetentThe appointed VAR specialist referee won’t be allowed to ‘VAR’ in a round of games because of the mess at Chelsea v Spurs.
Drain the swamp.
But apparently there was no need to charge Romero with violent conduct because hair pulling isn't an offence, so what did Dean actually do wrong (according to them?)The appointed VAR specialist referee won’t be allowed to ‘VAR’ in a round of games because of the mess at Chelsea v Spurs.

It’s a joke. They’ve over engineered the most simple of sports. But apparently there was no need to charge Romero with violent conduct because hair pulling isn't an offence, so what did Dean actually do wrong (according to them?)

In what other business would incompetence be rewarded?
I missed it. What did 'apologist-in-chief' Peter Walton have to say about the follicular challenge ?But apparently there was no need to charge Romero with violent conduct because hair pulling isn't an offence, so what did Dean actually do wrong (according to them?)
Well, it's complicated....I missed it. What did 'apologist-in-chief' Peter Walton have to say about the follicular challenge ?
Hope our boys go to the barbers this week....Well, it's complicated....
Cristian Romero won't face action for hair pull on Marc Cucurella
Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero pulling Marc Cucurella's hair right before Harry Kane's goal in the 96th minute from an Ivan Perisic corner has been generating headlines like there's no tomorrow.tothelaneandback.com
I think it goes like this....
Dean as VAR saw the incident and he might well have decided it was a foul, or even a yellow, but it doesn't matter, because he's not there to rule on such things. Because he's looked at it and decided it's not a red he can't do anything in the game and nobody can do anything after the game.
That leaves the question of why he's been dropped, but I can't see that he has been, just that he doesn't have a game this weekend, which might just be convenient.
Having said all that, how anyone can think it's not violent conduct is beyond me. Simply saying it's not in the rules is ridiculous, taking your boot off and clubbing a defender to death probably isn't specifically outlawed!
That last sentence made me larf.Well, it's complicated....

Linesman involved with his ear piece, they've all got their fingers in the pies, politicians of sport! He’s a ****. I’ve called him out for being a ****. But I don’t think it’s on him tonight.
Unless there’s large-scale corruption happening in front of our eyes, there’s nothing he can do without the camera angle.
The linesman, despite those ****ers not flagging ALL SEASON, has absolutely screwed us.
It wouldn’t surprise me. How can there not be a camera angle of the width of the pitch.Linesman involved with his ear piece, they've all got their fingers in the pies, politicians of sport!
I wouldI wouldn’t **** on him if he was on fire. Little rat
There is mate, it's just not there today to suit the agenda and corruption, how else are Liverpool going to get champions league? Because they ain't finishing top 4 on recent form...It wouldn’t surprise me. How can there not be a camera angle of the width of the pitch.
Dont be silly................he hasn't got any to drop off.I honestly hope he wakes up tomorrow and his *******s have dropped off
It was there a few seconds earlier when we took the cornerThere is mate, it's just not there today to suit the agenda and corruption, how else are Liverpool going to get champions league? Because they ain't finishing top 4 on recent form...
I would, let him live a life in agony.I wouldn’t **** on him if he was on fire. Little rat
Funny that, and I agree. Watch the angles back you can see behind the ball before nunes takes the corner... why didn't they use that camera? Because they didn't want to that's why!It was there a few seconds earlier when we took the corner
I can only assume it may be a camera operator on foot with mobile camera used for corner who moved as soon as corner taken, but even then should have been in a position to be showing that area of the pitch, I guess the higher camera would be the one showing live footage and zoomed in to the box so Nunes out of shotFunny that, and I agree. Mike Dean lives near Liverpool of course he is corrupt when officiating his teamI would love an investigation into the corruption in our leagues - trouble is it’s difficult to nail on
I know considering that ground is used in alot of high level football matches in the champions league... like you say very convenient ain't it! Stinks tbh.I can only assume it may be a camera operator on foot with mobile camera used for corner who moved as soon as corner taken, but even then should have been in a position to be showing that area of the pitch, I guess the higher camera would be the one showing live footage and zoomed in to the box so Nunes out of shot
All very convenient though
