TEMPLEGATE takes on Monday’s racing confident of building the bank for a huge week of Flat and jumps action.

Fresh off picking the winner of the bet365 Gold Cup, our top tipster will be back with his selections for the star-studded Punchestown Festival in Ireland plus the Guineas action this weekend.

Boost the punting coffers with his picks below – and back any at the best price simply by clicking their odds.

ANTIPHON (8.09 Windsor, nap)

He looked more than a little unlucky not to finish closer than fourth on his turf comeback at Brighton last time out. He looked to be coming with a wet sail in the closing stages only to have the door shut in his face a couple of times when it mattered. He won this time last year over this course and distance and is lower in the weights today. He went close on his last visit to Windsor in October when there was some cut in the ground so today’s soft conditions shouldn’t be a big problem. This doesn’t look the strongest race for the grade and he can score under his top jockey.

COPPER MOUNTAIN (4.40 Southwell, nb)

This son of Derby winner Sir Percy has been knocking on the door and went down by just a neck here last time out. There was a good gap back to the third and this race looks a little weaker if anything. Rider Joanna Mason has made a cracking start to the turf season and can boot home another winner for her grandad Mick Easterby.

HATADORA (7.39 Windsor, treble)

Looks a potential scorer after being chinned in a photo finish here last time out. The handicapper has been more than fair in dropping him a pound despite that near miss. He was in front a yard before the line before his less exposed rival just came and nicked it. He saves his best for this mile trip and has handled slow going on the all-weather so these softer conditions should hold no fears.

SURREY BELLE (8.00 Wolverhampton, Lucky 15)

Looks good to complete the Lucky 15. She showed a real liking for this test when scoring over course and distance when last seen in November. A 3lb rise in the weights looks fair and the booking of rising star Billy Loughnane by trainer Hughie Morrison is another plus. She has relatively few miles on the clock and looks capable of a step forward today.
