Which performance over the past 3 years has really stood out for you? Not a team performance; that of an individual.

I've drawn up a brief shortlist which would benefit from additions by those who have, like me, been watching Wolves every week for the past 3 years.

I'll edit as suggestions are posted.

Mancienne v Arsenal (a) 09/10
Guedioura v Tottenham (h) 09/10
Jones v West Ham (a) 09/10
Doyle v Tottenham (a) 09/10
Craddock v Stoke (a) 09/10
Berra v Fulham (h) 09/10
Doyle v Liverpool (h) 09/10
Keogh v Wigan (a) 09/10

Jarvis v Man City (h) 10/11
Ebanks-Blake v Birmingham (h) 10/11
Fletcher v WBA (h) 10/11
Stearman v Chelsea (h) 10/11
O'Hara v Blackpool (h) 10/11
Milijas v Liverpool (a) 10/11
Hunt v WBA (h) 10/11
Ward v Liverpool (a) 10/11
Henry v Man Utd (a) 10/11
Zubar v Man Utd (h) 10/11
Doyle v Man Utd (h) 10/11

Fletcher v Sunderland (h) 11/12
Frimpong v Aston Villa (h) 11/12
Eggert Jonsson v Liverpool (h) 11/12
Hennessey v Arsenal (a) 11/12
Roger Johnson v Tottenham (a) 11/12
[I'm really struggling here!)

Wasn't in the Prem I don't think, League Cup IIRC, but Jarvis v ManYoo last year, ripped them apart down the left, so they doubled up, and he ripped both of them apart. Just before his England call-up I think. Can't decide on Prem ones at the mo, I'll get back to you!

Was that the game of Elokobi's goal and his celebration with the corner flag?

Hunt v Albion last year was one of the best performances i've seen from a Wolves player in 15 years of watching. Really set the tempo and application of the entire team.

No that was when we beat them in the league 2-1 at home I believe...unless he did it again away in the cup.

That was my first thought too.

Good effort though Hogan.
I would have said Frimps if it could have been over 90 minutes (wish it would have been over 6 months) but I'm going for Milijas not only because it was class but also to $$$$ off all the Micklodytes.

Good starting list Hogan. Another couple that stand out for me are:

- Stephen Ward v Liverpool (a) 10/11
- Christophe Berra v Fulham (h) 09/10. We were 2-0 up against Fulham and Berra had marked Zamora out of the game. They got one back from a penalty and bombarded us with high balls into the area. Berra literally got his head on everything, even outjumping Hangeland who had been sent forward on a number of occasions.

Glad you put Jones performance against West Ham in there - he was superb that night.

That's a really good shout. I'd almost totally forgotten about Hunt's performances at the back-end of last season after some of his abject displays this season, but he was brilliant that day, fairs fair.

Another few including a couple from two of our more maligned players:

1. Andy Keogh - Wigan (a) 09/10
2. Kevin Doyle - Man United (h) 10/11
3. Roger Johnson - Tottenham (a) 11/12. Seeing him play as well as he did that day makes it even more frustrating that his signing has turned out so badly.

Another good shout, as well as his performance away to Arsenal.

Agree RE RJ. He was immense that game.

Great shouts, especially the Johnson one. He was sensational that game.

(See if you can spot the red herring in the list)

How can you remember back that far for something so detailed?

I have no idea! I have an encyclopaedic knowledge of football and, seeing as Wolves is the club I support, I can pretty much give you any bit of information from any game we've played in the last 4/5 years.

Who said Rain man?

Doyle vs Man U in the 2-1 win. There were a few excellent performances that day but his as a lone striker was as close as you'll see to perfect.

Worth a mention is Milijas at home to Bolton 09/10. Ran the show and scored a wonder goal to boot.

On the subject of that, Kevin Doyle had one of his best games in a Wolves shirt away to Newcastle this season when he played as a lone striker. They just didn't know how to deal with him.

Keogh versus Wigan was a great solo performance , played the lone striker role perfectly that night , hit the bar , scored and made bramble look a total tit with a great turn where we should of been awarded a pen , he got booked for diving !!! I was on the back row that night and it's one of the only imcidences I've seen where it looked as stone wall on the box after as it did in the stand ...

Such a shame that the various media all missed him poking in a rebound and for some reason focussed on Jarvis murdering City every time he got the ball.

This season you can add on Johnson versus Arsenal and versus Chelsea. When he's been good, he's been immense, shame it's only been a handful of games.

Also Hunt vs Blackburn (A), O'Hara versus Fulham (H) and Doyle vs Newcastle (A)

Also Kightly was not far behind Frimpong in that Villa match.
