Tottenham need to do a fair bit of spring cleaning in the next transfer window.

Recent results have shown that Spurs just aren’t at the required level.

Tottenham have lost four league games in a row – their worst run for 20 years, and many of these players have proven that, quite simply, they’re not good enough.

Speaking on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast, Dean Jones has been discussing Tottenham and their summer transfer plans, and he’s made an interesting claim about Richarlison.

Indeed, the journalist says that Richarlison will be targeted by Saudi Arabian clubs this summer, and if a decent offer arrives, he expects the £60m striker to leave.

Richarlison could leave Tottenham

Jones spoke about Richarlison and the idea that he could leave this summer.

“A new number nine is possible., Richarlison will be targeted by the Saudis this summer, and if it’s a decent offer he will go,” Jones said.

Extrapolate that over a full season and you’re looking at a 25-goal striker.

It’s not as simple as just saying that, but there are signs that Richarlison will kick on at Tottenham, and a ‘decent’ offer shouldn’t be enough to sway Spurs into selling the £60m man.

Richarlison has the ability to be a valuable member of this squad, and Tottenham should hold out for a premium fee for Brazil’s number nine after a bright run of form.
