    Hi All,

I have been a mol mixer on and off using different guises over the last ten years or so, after speaking to Edge and Rhos in the Stile before the Sheffield Wednesday game I have signed up yet again!! (Honoury ban awaiting).

I was wandering whether any other Mixers collect Wolves memorabilia. I myself collect Wolves Pin badges, especially of the vintage variety. (No I don’t keep them on a hat). It would be great to hear from any likewise mixers!!

Having said that, the pride of my collection is not a badge but a Billy Wright commemorative medal (Only 250 made) which was struck from the same cast metal used for his statue, distributed free by IMI at the statue unveiling Dinner held for the great man in 1996.

    Any collectors out there??

I have various pieces but have two favourites
In 1939 my Dad won a set of signed photograph postcards of our FA Cup Final team .They are still in the original envelope and are in magnificent mint condition .A similar set which weren't in such good condition were sold at Auction for around £500 a few years ago.Mine are going nowhere .
Secondly when the old Cow Shed North Bank was demolished I was given one of the original turnstile clicking /counting devices that many of us pushed our way through hundreds and hundreds of times.I had it mounted on a plinth and it adorns one of our walls.

Ive got over 2000 match day programmes, some signed. I go to most old players funerals too and have 2 copies of their order of services, also went to Sir Jacks, got his and the tickets needed to get inside the church. A book full of old Wolves stats and player pictures, with Stan Cullis autograph on one,

I have an extensive collection of football pin badges covering all the English and Scottish leagues and down to "Conference" level and beyond plus all the FIFA full member national football associations ( which alone run to around 208 I think at last count!!) I keep my Wolves ones separately - of which i must have about fifty odd i would think!

I haven't got much but my favourite thing is a Wembley rosette from 1974 which my nan gave to me after my grandad passed away along with some other things such as a gold copy of the pink.

    Jonzy,

You have got some good things there. As you probably know we lost the final 4-1 to Pompey but the 1939 final was special being the last one until after the second world war (1946). As well as the postcards a badge was made to mark the final, see picture below. And this is one I am desperate for my collection !! there were some repros made in the 90's but nowhere near to the original quality. The original badge has a jacket lapel fitting which is basically a horse shoe shape. The Mol Museum has one of the original turnstiles, not sure you get two for one though!!

Most of my stuff was in my garage/pub until we moved! However, work is underway in the new double garage where I will be able to display more of my collection. The badge cabinet in the corner houses over 2000 Wolves badges but my favourite piece is a door handle from the old Waterloo Road stand!

I've got Bully's match worn shirt signed and framed on my wall, a signed and framed Billy Wright Civic Banquet menu celebrating his 100th cap, several signed balls including our last two championship teams and a vintage ball signed by lots of the old 50's stars. A signed Civic Reception menu for the 1974 League Cup, a signed programme and ticket from the 1960 FA Cup, books signed by Sir Jack, Billy Wright, Bully and one signed by lots of old players, shirts from Ince, Murray and David Kelly, a replica SVT shirt signed by Mutchy and Robbie, I could go on.

My prized possession however is a framed picture montage of my Dad with loads of the greats from the Fifties that hangs on my Mom's wall from the day we went to the reception for the unveiling of the Stan Culls statue. In the middle of the montage is the guest list with our names recorded proudly as acquaintances of Stan and signed by all the legends that took us into their crowd and made us feel like one of their own. Every time I look at that presentation I feel eternally grateful to Rachel Hey-Ho Flint for arranging things and to those ordinary but especially talented guys that gave me a day with my old man that I'll cherish forever.

I've got the 1949 Cup Final programme and a ticket stub from the game. Same for 1960. A 1960 'Road to Wembley' souvenir magazine. And the original 'Pink' for both Cup Finals. These all came from my Dad. I'm sure many other Mixers have got these. Also, black and white framed photos (from the E&S) of Kenny Hibbitt and John Richards scoring the goals that beat Man City in the 74 League Cup Final, and one of Gary Pierce as he turned a somersault at the final whistle. I also once had a postcard with photos of all 11 members of the 1908 cup-winning team but sadly lost it.

My collection is mostly books, flags, and a few small trinkets but I've got a good half century to build it up :D

Shameless plug from a previous thread but seemingly fits with this one...

Firstly thanks to those involved in producing and distributing the collectors cards produced for each home game. I, like many others I know, enjoy collecting these and have done so over the years.

Being very sad and a bit of a completest, can anyone cast their minds back or check their collections to the League One 2013/14 cards which were of the seasons squad?
I have 20 cards (Doherty, Elokobi, Edwards, Stearman, Batth, Davies, Sako, McDonald, Forde, Ikeme, Evans, Siggy, Cassidy, Price, Ismail, Reckord, EEL, Golbourne, Foley & Doyle).
I have seen a listing on Ebay which included Sam Ricketts however this one was sold out.
Can anyone confirm who/if any are still missing? (Ricketts, Siggy, McAlinden, Griffiths etc...? I am assuming there were 23/24 produced?

And just to check on other collections:
2013/14 was the first season these were produced?
2014/15 there were 20 cards produced of famous players?
2015/16 there were 24 cards produced of old kits?
2016/17 are top goal scorers (I currently have 14, assuming there will again be 24?)

    Many Thanks

    Hi Berks
I'll get on to this for you as I arrange for all these cards to be produced and given out.
I'll check to see what we have left from the old sets and try to make them up for you.

This seasons cards as you say, are the top goal scorers throughout the years. We are up to number 14 so far. No 15 for the Villa game this Saturday is Andy Mutch with his 106 goals scored, and if Mutchy is paying attention, yes I will send you a set, including Andy.

If anyone had any subject ideas for what set we do for next season, let me know.
We've thought of managers through the years etc but would be good to have some ideas from fans.

Surprised to hear that price! Mine was given to me for nothing when I was about 15 (53 years ago), but somewhere along the line it got lost/thrown out (probably by my Mum!)

There's some awesome moustaches in that 1908 team!

I got rid of most of my programmes a few years back but kept a few from the 50's and the 1960 cup final

Have a signed end of year dinner pamphlet signed by Sir Jack from the 1990's which is also very precious to me
