a couple of websites stating we are interested, i think the fee that blackpool had agreed was £200K, seems quite cheap but i dont think hes any better than we've got....

He is average at best. I'd prefer Routledge.

We were linked with him when He went to Rangers. Thought He looked good last night, would certainly add to our squad as he can play wide left or as a striker..

Mick tried to sign him during his first season, so it wouldn't be a complete surprise, i thought he looked ok last night

At 200k he'd be a decent signing, i'd expect him to get a mans haircut though, looks a bit elaborate for wolves

Based on what I saw of him at Molineux and on tv last night, he's an intelligent player, but not one I can see fitting in to our current two striker system. He finds space well, has a good eye for the pass and pulls opposition players out of position. So yeah, fairly similar to Keogh! Although I think he'd be better in the hole behind a striker.

Blimey. Sexuality referred to as a 'bus'. It's like Gaydesk with Colin Popshed (go youtube it). Le Saux's clearly not gay anyway, not that it would matter two hoots.

"Today's gay buses are the numbers 535, 560 and 126".

I remember that! Is Copper and the M1 still gay?

Anyway, Gow isn't a bad player but I think signing him would be the solution to a specific problem in the side that doesn't exist and he wouldn't do a job in The Prem IMO...pass on this one.

Gow doesn't look up to the challenge for me and would just be a passenger in this Wolves squad.

Kenny, did I say that in the quote? I've seen him a couple of times and he didn't impress me.

Would you like to see him in the Wolves team?

  18. Would sooner have Mark Davies in the 1st team

I prefer to judge players when they have actually played for us.
The majority thought Iwelumo would be a waste of money...15 goals later
A few labelled Mancienne "gash" due to what they had seen in 2 or 3 games.
For 200k it wouldn't be a major gamble at all.

Generally when people decide he is not good enough, they stick with that regardless of how they are doing. Some people still have a go at Stephen Ward, despite the fact he has been an outstanding player for us this season.

Leicester want to extend his loan till the end of the season.

Now if we agree to that, then we must have a midfielder lined up to come and I would also guess we would try and get Davies to sign a new deal before he joins Leicester (like Dan Jones and the failed attempt with Gleeson)

I just don't think Gow would be better than what we have got.

Personally I would like to see Fryatt come in and really challenge Chris and SEB for a starting spot.

Although I haven't scouted him, I just think Gow wouldn't do that, but hey we have all been proved wrong in the past.

  22. I would be disappointed if we allow him to stay at Leicester all season, it would pretty much end his own hopes of football here and he would look to move.

Gow seems able to play out wide, similar type of player to Lafferty. Can see why Mick would be interested in him.

You know how it works though, the press link us with 400 players and we sign one out of the blue that no one knew about.

Not so sure. Missing near enough 2 seasons, loaned out for 4-5 months playing at the top of League 1 week in week out. Returns to us pre-season full of confidence etc.

I would prefer to keep him and use him, but who knows what plans we have for him. We have watched him every time he has played for Leicester. I would be surprised if Wolves just let him drift out of the club.

With you on that Kenny - I'd be very surprised & equally disappointed if we let MD go now after keeping him on board for the past few years.

Apparently Gow's going to Leeds (cos themabigclub) due to the Simon Grayson factor. Back page of last night's Evening Post (LUFC loving local paper)

  27. Gow would be a good little signing at £200 K.

Not a bad player and has some creativity which we have been missing, but if I am honest we need much better than that to compete at the top of the table.

Not one I would be busting a gut to sign - Surman, Watson, Koumas would do very nicely on the other hand

If we got him I am not sure where he would fit in, but he impressed me. No Wolves player seemed capable of tackling him. He created space for himself in tight situations, the sort of platyer we have not got.

All I can recall of Gow is that glaring miss at Molineux when he should have buried it in the bottom corner.

Gow "no better than what we've got" yet we should sign a player with 11 goals in 2.5 seasons in the Championship to challenge players with 15 and 13 goals in half a season? Fryatt has found his level.

surman and watson i` take, but not koumas. When the going gets tough, he goes missing. Still think a short term contract for gravesen would be good if we can get him for the right price. Also, another target man just until the end of the season, unless we can get beattie from the best squad in the championship, which wont happen. Vokes is good, but i dont see him as a starting player. We need a viable alternative to big chris. Since the sheff utd game away he is definatly off the boil.
