Just to address the balance right about WWFC passed history from that other negative thread WO1VE5 about the **** and us and that result before..
For those that are too young to know this and don't read all that other thread..
    Like Yam Avinaloff here..
"I sure wish it was us that beat them 1-5 seven years ago, so we could be where they are now!" ..

We did trash the **** by more than that on March 16th 1963 when I first started to go to Molineux

Think that you missed the point of Yam Avinaloff's post. What would you rather have, a one-off 5-1 victory vs your big local rivals or being a division above them with top class players in a team fully competitive with the top-6?

We were 2-0 up in the first game when it was abandoned and the fans were up in arms .The bad winter meant the replayed game wasn’t for months.

Indeed I was there, seem to recall you posting if only Traore had played instead of "Piggy" we'd have won by more.:p:p

    No Rhoswolf ..
Terry Wharton who played in a similarly position as it happens right winger as Adama Traore was a stand out player for me early days at Molineux. Terry never missed a penalty if I remember correctly also?

No, interesting Alan Hinton was driven out by the boo boys and we ended up with Dick le Flem, must be the worst transfer in history!!:(

Your memory is better than mine Rhoswolf. I do remember Alan Hinton playing some good games for us and putting over some great crosses. Did Alan play on the left wing and for England also??

Played on the left and had a thunderbolt of a shot, from memory think he got selected for a squad along with Chris Crowe (just checked and did play), played for England when at Derby.

Now that I am old And the memory plays tricks did Terry Wharton put us 2 nil up against man united in the cup at Molineux some 50 odd years ago in ten minutes , both penalties....? Memory says we lost 2-4....not sure of my years because I seem to remember Wharton playing with wagstaffe, Richards, and Dougan in the front line...But then I seem to recall Jim mccalliog taking penalties...and stopping half way so the keeper fell over ( now banned)...those I think were good days but the sixties are merely a splendid blur in my mind now....

Know what you mean Caribbeanwolf about the 60's.. Did you happen to go to the Cats (Catacombs) then?
Had to look in my book about Wolves.. Yes It was March 5th 1966 we lost to Man Utd in FA Cup when they beat us 2-4 and Wharton got the two. attendance 53,428 and yes Terry Wharton looks like he played his last season with us when Dougan and Wagstaffe came to be big players for us. Not JR though he didn't come into Wolves team until the 70's

I was a regular at the Cats. Wasn't that the cup game after we beat the vile in the 3rd game at the Hawthorns with goals from Hughie McIlmoyle, and Utd's first goal came from a pass back from Knowlesie?

Mutchy surely you being a Mod on a Wolves MM forum.. How can you allow all those pictures on the Albion (obsessed) thread? With it disrespecting our beloved team WWFC.. Even the thread title alone on this Wolves MM Forum should not be allowed imho. Check out that poster bomberx if you know your football and the team down the road ex players. To me his username alone is giving him away as T Brown / Albion fan and trolling?

Mutchy can you reassure me then brightside is a Wolves fan then I will apologies to him?

PS. I wasn't agreeing with myself above I was agreeing with Shropshirelad's post on other thread " Albion (obessed)" which I refuse to post on here's the post..Shropshirelad "Why are Wolves fans posting large pictures of them on our own fan forum?
If you @brightside and @Hsvwolf (post 1238) had any sense of decorum you'd delete them. Come on, It's a disgrace!"

Been watching my son play in a cup semi final mate so busy tonight. Won 1-0 so very happy.
I’m Wolves through and through and would wager Iv spent far more and travelled further than you following my team.
If you can’t tell from my posts that I hate the Albion then I’d suggest you aren’t the sharpest tool in the box.
Go and start a thread about it, you havnt done one for at least 12 minutes.

I'm glad your happy with your son winning tonight.. Aren't you glad about knowing that the Wolves beat Albion 7-0 which you wouldn't know about being so young? I'm going to reserve my apology to you as a fellow Wolf after those insults in last two posts of yours to me.
Btw, this is my only thread today not a thread every 12 minutes.

I post this after a few beers as it seems fully in spirit with the whole thread...
