With the news that the latest Manager of the once proud :)rolleyes:) Yorkshire club has been axed after a 5 game losing streak including being knocked out of the FA Cup by a team from a town that nobody knows where it is who does anyone reckon will be the next to take on the poisoned chalice that is Leeds United?

Poyet was apparently in the director's box with Bates yesterday.

Said on TalkSport Friday morning when questioned about links to the Swindon job that he wasn't yet thinking about hanging up his boots.

Currently has a bad back (not unlike Leeds United it seems)

No, they've got a bad side. Boom boom.

If they offer it him, he'll take it.

Yorkshire Post quoting Leeds leg-end Norman Hunter as saying "there will be plenty of good candidates out there who fancy taking Leeds United at this moment"

Yeah cos thery're a big club aren't they? What happened to them "storming the League"? "They took 15 points off us last season and we still got to the Play-Off Final". $$$$ off dirty scum, you're not famous any more.

The fans favour Aidy Boothroyd or Iain Dowie, For Me Dowie is $$$$. They may look at Ince or Curbishley???

Why on earth would Curbishley be interested in managing such a lower league club? He's far too good for them.

Ince, Poyet or Speed seem the obvisous choice...

Bates and Leeds go hand in hand....
Hate the Club even though i can driver there in 5 min...

I'd like it to be Paul Ince. I think he deserves another chance.

With his man utd connections, i cant see ince getting a fair go from their fans at all. I think it will be poyet personally.

Leeds are a very big club but they have too much arrogance. They will be back but the longer they spend down with the dead men the better. It would be a perfect job for Ince if it wasn't for the Man Utd connection ( takes a special talent to be hated on both sides of The Pennines) and it will be their loss.

    Very lovely city mind.

  19. Hopefully they will find someone with the talent to take them down to a pub league very quickly and turn their ground into a Netto.

This is clearly nonsense - there is a Netto just up the hill in Beeston. Much more likely to be a Lidl.

  21. How about a Bargain Booze store and a public convenience instead? They can stick that statue of the dirty cheating jock outside it too.

Simon Grayson is 20-1 ON to be the next Leeds manager. He is expected to take over today.

Hope this will mess Blackpool up when we face them next week.

It will be John Sheridon. It will be announced in the next day or two. All betting has been suspended, apart from sky bet where they are offering 20/1 but you can only bet a max of £20.

As with my Wolves points predictions a couple of weeks ago, feel freeto quote me on this one when it happens...

Leeds' approach for Simon Grayson has been rejected by Blackpool.

Its rumoured that Graysons advisors had agreed a one year rolling contract with Leeds.

What have I told you about being disrespectful to places?

$$$$-holes are useful places. Leeds isn't.

Only decent thing about Leeds is the road out of it towards Dewsbury. :)

Grayson would be mad to take that job - I rate him as one of the better managers in this league, along with Coyle and Irvine.

He is going no where at Blackpool though.

Leeds may be in a league below but its still seen as a big challenge by any ambitious manager. No prem club will come in for him though and clubs like Charlton, Soton and Watford seem to be sinking fast and are not very attractive to young up and coming managers who have already managed in this league.

From a selfish perspective it would be good to see him go there as then they'd be a rattled come next Monday.

Or trying to impress a new Manager? Don't forget the January sales. Players fighting to keep their places under a new boss etc.
