BILD, Stewarton, User no longer registered et al?

    I Typed in "H I G H L A N D E R" and see above.

IS it any co-incidence that they :-

Were non existent for games 2 - 8

Have been non existent for Games 12 - 19.

  5. To be fair, BILD has been on and has eaten a fair slice of humble pie. I wouldn't include him in that lot.

The main moaners from last season don't seem to be on as often though now we're doing well.

Maybe they're just contented and don't seem the need to post now there's little to moan about?

I think that's just about it really. I have not been McCarthy's biggest fan (understatement) and I felt last season there was plenty to be critical of. This season however I have to say fair play to him, he's turned things around and who can complain after the start we've had. I am loving it!

I hope 'not being his biggest fan' didn't extend to shouting for him to go. McCarthy is a superb chamiponship manager and even in the (relatively) dark days of last season it was always obvious how he wanted to play and the age profile of signings etc has been spot on. i think we can all forgive Darren ward for the myriad of good signings made.

More generally much as I love MolMix I think its existence alongside 24 hour sports news etc does mean there is a more febrile atmosphere whenever things dont go according to plan.

Personally I would always give any manager 3 seasons provided he passes an initial 'vetting of appropriateness'. For my money Hoddle should never have been appointed: too much arrogance, too much white collar, too Southern, style of football incompatible with tradition of club and mentality of fans. McCarthy ticks all these boxes and continues to do so.

I fail to see how any wolves fan in their right mind could be unhappy with this season so far. I still dont think mick is the right man for the job long term, but i cant really complain at the moment. I`m quite pleased mick is proving me wrong.

im sure mick is humbled by your temporary acceptance of him making you "quite pleased" with the results achieved so far.

He pops up from time to time but has a new job so can't get on here as often as he used to.

Oh and he can't find anything to criticise about Mick of course ;)

Let's just suppose that the season continues as it has done so far(and we're almost half way don't forget). Would you then concede that he's the right man for the job long term?

I'm sure he'd find the time if we'd just gone on a 7 game losing streak...

Essex, Stewarton et all have nothing to moan about and as that's all they log on here to do, there has been no reason for them to post.

Don't worry they'll be back when we start to struggle - Be it this season or next.

I will admit to not being MM's biggest fan and would have been happy to see the back of him after last season. Partly through work commitments, and partly because I didn't want to watch a repeat of last season's square pegs in round holes, I didn't renew my ST. But I have just bought a half-season ST, such has been the transformation. Fair play to MM, he's shown that he can hack it in this division, and hack it playing open, free-scoring football. But whether he can do it in the Prem, even if he is given the resources (which arguably he wasn't at Sunderland), remains to be seen, and I think he starts with a completely clean slate again if we go up, as I expect we will.

Last season- plenty to moan about. And I mean, PLENTY= MORE MOANERS.

This season- nothing to moan about. So, guess what **** for brains, LESS MOANERS.

Its not ****ing rocket science is it?? Perhaps for you maybe.

And I thought we'd buried the hatchet Glasgow.

  17. Don't bite, BILD - it's what they're after!

I'm sure you're enjoying this season as much as the next Wolves fan.

    Let's all enjoy it.

But why aren't they (not necessarily you) as quick to praise as they were to criticise? Why go into hiding, as opposed to being pleased?

There was nothing much to moan about last season...that is the point. Manager comes into a skelketon of a club and unbelievably finishes 5th. 'second season syndrome' then kicks in alongside injuries to key players and yes some questionable signings/selections and we still finish 7th. So last season may have been disappointing but only in the context of the expectations MM had created due to 06/07 performance. Even in players like Kyle I could always see what he was trying to do...Iwelumo is miles better than Kyle but a similar type.

I just wish we could all step back and see the bigger piucture. it just seems so many people are incapable of discerning the difference between a genuine crisis (Hoddle's complete fracture of the relationship between manager and supporters) and temporary blip (last season)

There was always 100% effort and a discernable formation/pattern of play even if last year was turgid at times. Don't really want to bang on about the past but I just hope people are less 'febrile' (feverish) when the next 'crisis' occurs.

My question was not why are they not moaning, but why are they not posting there is a difference.

Last season evey thread had one of you complaining shouting down us "Happy Clappers"

This season your not on any thread......

I did not realise the rule was your not allowed to post unless it's a negative

To find out what any poster might be up to :

1 click on members list to find said member
    2 click on their name
    3click on public profile
when you open that up it tells you their current/last activity. After that you could actually send them a PM. You never know you might just make a friend.

  22. I hope the 'you' in that post wasn't referring to me!! ;)

Blimey - I was labelled a 'happy clapper' all the bloody time last season. Guess what, I am happy clapping this season. Being 6 points clear at the top and scoring goals for fun does that to a bloke.

I never, ever doubted Mick and never, ever wanted him out. But instead of saying 'I told you so' to the supposed doom and gloom merchants, I'm simply enjoying the feeling of where we are right now.

On the other hand, we may have a lot more posters on this board who weren't posting last season but have started posting this season BECAUSE we're playing well.

It works both ways. I'd rather it this way round obviously. :D

I do know that I've spoken to quite a few MolMix members at games who aren't posting on here because they've become fed up of various "in fighting" (there words not mine) going on at times.

You're picking out just 2 or 3 people, there are plenty of us who were unhappy with what went on last season who are delighted to see things have (so far) been turned around who continue to post. Pointless post, what are you trying to prove and what does it achieve?

Seems to me that threads like this only set out to cause trouble. Posters will come and go, and they are entitled to post when they want - or not - as the case may be.
We will hit rough times again eventually - hopefully not for a long time - but other viewpoints will inevitably come to the fore again at some point.
