Sorry to say but it has been pathetic so far this calendar year IMHO.

What's happened to the fans making a row? 150 Charlton fans sang "is this a library!?". So embarrassing.

Awful atmosphere recently. Sort it out lads. I tried singing on my own today and nobody joined in (SL1).

Let's get behind 'em. Far better last season...

A dull game inspires a dull atmosphere. And today was about as dull as they get.

well if u have that mindset and it will leak on the field

cheer and shout make so much noise so players know they have a 12th man on the field saying give me the ball!

    UP THE WOLVES

To be fair apart from the odd game atmosphere has been poor for 10 years.
Songs that get sung aswell are pretty crap. Hate the barmy army song why not gold and black army.

    Yeah it was dire today.
But watching a side passing it about and clueless to how to actually find the net doesn't really get the blood racing…..

Had to admit the atmosphere today was awful, it matched the performance on the pitch

An early goal, some hard tackling, some contentious refs decisions, some concentrated attacking, a rush of corners - this is what you need to get the crowd going imo. You get very little of this at Molineux (apart from the refs bit!) so it's hard to get off your seats and get excited. We are a 1-0 team at best, play too deep, too slow and don't have the quality where it matters esp with Sako away. KJ needs to find the right signing in the next week to generate some excitement amongst us fans.

Absolutely shocking today. Diabolical. Good new afoebe song by wv1 division mind.

A $$$$ crowd inspired a $$$$ game! Supporters not customers! Worse performance than the team today I'm afraid.

Sometimes something on pitch needs kick start fans

    Doesn't need be a goal

Bit passion, urgency, tackle just something

Players gave nothing for fans get involved

Vice versa. A loud crowd will make a player get stuck in more or put in that extra bit of effort

It's a shame the handbags at he end didn't happen an hour earlier. It would have livened the match up.

Been browsing for a while but without properly posting, however, this has really annoyed me.

The atmosphere was awful yesterday, I can't think of anything, arguably with the exception of he's one of our own that got the whole South Bank going yesterday. Normally, once upon a time does or wanderers scarf does but even those fell on seemingly deaf ears yesterday. I struggle to understand how we can sing we are the south bank and we'll sing on our own when we don't sing at all, it's a travesty.

This isn't because we failed to win yesterday, I have felt this way since September, most prominently the Reading away game when the support was horrific, regardless of the scoreline during the game.

The supporters, yes that's right, the supporters, not customers, should inspire the players not vice versa. So rather than booing (yes, it was only a very, very small minority), let's give the team the backing they deserve as opposed to standing in silence with the odd murmur here and there. We don't have a god given right to be in the play offs which is the impression I think SOME people have, we have only come up this season (I know it shouldn't have happened, the relegation, but it did) so, in the words of the bloke of the tannoy, let's make some noise, for our team, Wolverhampton Wanderers!

Heard them singing twice quite comfortably from back of the southbank. You have ear plugs in?

Terrible atmosphere but we have spoken about this before this is what happens when we get a south bank full of fans who don't normally come , I was a few seats away from a bloke who said he hadn't been for 15 years but he was given a free ticket so came, I bet there were more like him aswell. Also what is with all the fighting every week between our own fans it's embarrassing, nearly every game there is handbags.

Why do some of our fans feel the need to slate the away fans all the time? When our own atmosphere is booming then fair enough. But it isn't. There was what, 300-400 of them? They sang, I could hear them easily in the Gods.

From what I could see the bottom left of the South Bank is where the noise emanates from. So bottom right as you guys see it.

100%. All well and good singing your support is $$$$ing $$$$ when ours is tops, but when we are doing next to nothing its a complete contradiction.

The atmosphere was very expectant at the start of the game mainly because of our new star striker. However, after about 10 minutes people started to wait for something to shout about and it inevitably it all went quiet. Unfortunately, as the game wore on, the moaners became more vocal and by the end of the game there were boos (not from me) in the BW.

I blame those blinding advertising hoardings! They are enough to put anybody off and get on peoples nerves!

A lot of songs started by back left (rear of stand to the right as you look) this week...mainly the old traditional songs. Stand was poor this week except SL4 ;)

ALL the new songs are mainly started by S1 but the RVLP song was started a few times by various pockets

A lot of the old songs get started by S3 or S4 the original song starters. In fact you often get two songs going at exactly the same time

Yesterday was poor, however I did hear the North Bank so please keep that going

Don't forget to look out for a noisy dwarf in SL4 :D

The South Bank atmosphere is undoubtedly compromised by the singers moving over to the left. When you are with them you have no idea if the rest of the stand are singing.

And again, Molineux when quiet, must be one of the most atmosphere-less grounds in the country because of the distance of the side stands. Enough room for a athletics track. That is why i think it is far more important to get the Steve Bull stand done than anyone at the club recognises.

To be honest, I hate Molineux as it is, I was gutted when the Steve Bull stand redevelopment was abandoned. It could have transformed us as a club.

    This in Spades

It was best when S3 / S4 was the bedrock, more central and great atmosphere between the different areas

We now often get two completely different songs being sung at the same time

I would prefer the singers to be central

Kenny is always saying that it is the responsibility of the team to get the fans going.

I'm afraid this will be very difficult when we play at such a painfully slow tempo.

Why is it though? Granted, better football does aide the atmosphere, but we should be backing the team win, lose or draw. The ninety (plus stoppage time) that the players are out there, we should be doing our utmost to support them.
