right just got on the train and couldnt see one so here goes:

good performance overall and think the difference in quality in both boxes was the only thing that cost us today, although the young Spurs defender tried his best to even it up!

Patricio - 7 - conceded 3 but not at fault for any, made a couple of great saves especially Kanes curler.
Doherty - 6 - not his best game, started backing off too much for me and didnt cover with Bennett for the header from what i could see. unlucky not to get an assist with the offside.
Bennett - 6 - as above, distribution wasnt great today and seemed a little sluggish.
Coady - 8 - pick of our defence today, didnt think he put a foot wrong. showed some great positioning at times.
Boly - 6 - did ok but came for the header out of position on Kane which eventually led to their third goal, lost shape
Jonny - 5 - hes out of form last couple of games. got caught for the first goal leaving a gap for Lamela and then didnt close Trippier quickly enough for the second
Neves - 7 - good game, solid not spectacular. good control of play and good penalty
    Moutinho - 6 - as above
Costa - 7 - should have been an 8 but for his miss, seems scared of the ball sometimes and then next minute he beats two players. needs to believe in himself more
Cav - 6 - still finding his way back to match fitness, didnt do anything of note
Raul - 7 - the mexican Doyle had a good game, smart penalty. he would be a great bench option if we can find that top level striker
    Subs
MGW - 8 - fantastic cameo from the young lad, should have had an assist for Costa. what a player he will be
Bona - 7 - worthwhile contribution, however is not good enough for this level. happy for him today as it was one of his better showings this season, takes too much time
Traore - 6 - couple of flashes but didnt get much of the ball

Deserved something from the game, 100%. We’ll play worse and win. Right now the luck you need to win games is not with us in a big way, the offside/onside goal first half is a good example, if that’s Tottenham guaranteed the guy with the flag don’t put it up.

Lots of positives really were playing ever so well at the minute results are important of course but really were still less than a third into the season, lots of time to make tweaks and things.

Tremendous second half that turned the whole feeling of the game on its head.

Could and should have got at least a draw.

Much to feel rightly positive about as we didn't capitulate but came back at them to out-play them in the second. Spurs were fortunate to take all 3 points....but for that quick 2 goal salvo again it could all have been different.

Deserved a draw at the very least. Played well especially second half. Gutted about the result but pleased about the performance.

That's two good performances with nothing to show for it. Our luck will change and will give someone a good battering soon!!

Many a positive to take from that.

Must be stated that Spurs three goals were all very well crafted and taken - cannot deny that in any circumstances. Defence for both the 1st two stopped at exactly the wrong time and Kane is Kane re the third.

Never looked to give in however and that showed after both pens, of which were converted with such ease.

Raul's no-goal was never Offside, whilst Helder (Corrected from seeing MOTD) should have popped it in from 8 yards when it was 1-3!

MGW's appearance was something beautiful, Coads was top draw at the back and Rui did another excellent job in the sticks; none of the goals his fault.

Finally, atmosphere was among the best I've ever been in and the Remembrance Tribute almost had me in tears.

A solid night all around - roll on my next visit whenever that is!

Felt today was the first time Bennett showed he’s at times a level below the others. I’d be looking to bring in LD.

In terms of MGW he has to start for me. The issue is where.

I’d be tempted to play three in midfield going forward giving him a licence to support a mobile front two.

    Coady was superb.

First half was hugely frustrating and summed up our last few weeks. Started really well and played some great football up until their penalty area where our final ball was lacking. Then, like the Watford game, 2 goals in as many minutes left us with a mountain to climb. Thought Rui and Jonny could have done better with the first, and the same with Bennett and Doc for the second, but fair play to Spurs for showing that extra little bit of Premier League quality in the final third.

Responded really well and denied a superb team goal by a really poor decision by the linesman. A goal then, against a Spurs side which was always going to tire in the second half given their recent run of fixtures, would have completely changed the game.

Second half performance was absolutely fantastic. Gave it a real go from the off and unlucky to be denied by the brilliance of Lloris. A poor decision by Boly to go for the ball against Kane ultimately resulted in a third and it looked for all the world as if it were game over.

Inspired by Morgan Gibbs-White, however, we came again and deservedly got back into the game with two pretty stonewall penalties, both confidently despatched by Neves and Raul. Had a few chances to get another and I’m still in disbelief that Helder didn’t go round the keeper after that pass by MGW.

Overall, I think we deserved a point from the game but we simply have to be better in both boxes and stop conceding goals in clusters.

Patricio 6 - Thiught he should have done better with the first and was a little unlucky with the third which hit his other hand and rebounded back to Kane.
    Bennett 5
Coady 8 - Superb performance all round tonight. I think he has a real chance of being in the next England squad.
    Boly 7
    Doherty 6
    Neves 7
    Moutinho 6
    Jonny 5
    Costa 6
    Jimenez 6
    Cavaleiro 6

Gibbs-White 8 - His best game in a Wolves shirt.
    Bonatini 6
    Traore 6

Very proud of the boys and the way they approached the game. Just need to be a bit more clinical in both penalty boxes and get a little bit of luck on big decisions.

Totally agree with all of that. Would start Dendocker at Arsenal alongside Coady and Boly. Play Moutinho and Neves with MGW slightly ahead and Jiminez and another ahead. Would play Jota if fit.

    Patricio
    Doc
    Jonny
    Dendoncker
    Coady
    Boly
    Moutinho
    Neves
    MGW
    Jota
    Jiminez

May even be tempted to play Vinagre in place of Jonny but it is Arsenal away so would stick with Jonny.

A good performance against a very good side but ultimately a disappointing result.
We were probably the better side for large parts of the game, but once again not clinical enough when it mattered and a few defensive lapses cost us. Despite all of that, I still come away feeling proud of our boys.

    Ratings-

Patricio - not at fault for any of the goals. One or two very good saves. Distribution let him down a few times. 6.5
Bennett - probably his worst performance of the season, but he had previously set a very high standard. Caught out a couple times and looked shaky in possession. May be looking over his shoulder at Dendoncker now. 5
Coady - seems bizarre to say that your central defender was faultless when you concede 3 at home but thought Coady was excellent. Was majestic, read the game brilliantly and excellent distribution. 8
Boly - very good for most of the game but caught out for one of the goals and at this level you get punished. 7
Doherty - another good performance going forward. For a period early in the second half, he and costa caused endless problems down the right. Caught out positionally and it cost us. 7
Neves - one of his better performances this season. One of the few times he’s out-shone Moutinho. Deserved his goal. 7.5
Moutinho - played ok. So rarely gives the ball away. Was concerned to see him being replaced by MGW but proved to be a great decision by Nuno. 6.5
Jonny - not at his best. His final ball was disappointing at times when in good positions. Did well for the 2nd penalty. 6
Costa - a real game of 2 halves. Very disappointing first half, wouldn’t have been upset to see him taken off at the break. Close to his best in the 2nd half, was electric and caused the spurs backline plenty of problems. Composure when it really mattered let him down and should have scored the one on one. 7.5
Jimenez - Very good all round. As always, contributed plenty to our build up play and provided a real threat with some very good efforts. Very unlucky to have his great finish wrongly disallowed at the end of the first half. Took his penalty well. 7.5
Cavaleiro - A good first start in the PL. still working his way to full fitness but looked good in possession and right now is our best option on that left flank. 7

    Subs
MGW - what an impact. Personally, I wasn’t sure about nunos double sub at that point. But young Morgan was sensational. Really changed the game for us. Showed no fear and certainly no lack of talent and ability. Took the game by the scruff of the neck and that through ball was sublime and deserved a goal. MOM 9
Bonatini - hassled well for the first goal and linked play well. No real goal threat but pleased for him with his involvement for the pen. 6.5
Traore - typical Traore... couple of excellent runs despite having two opponents against him. Final ball not quite good enough. Tough to expect him to have major impact every time he gets 15 mins to change a game. 6

Anyone else think Kane looked out of shape? Maybe it was just the top he was wearing or something, but he looked about a stone heavier than he did in the world cup?

overall we were the better team but they were simply more clinical with the few chances they had. Nuno is better than Pocchettino.

Honestly, there were only 2 differences, namely Kane > Jimmy and the ref is a ****.

Patricio 6.5 - not much could done with goals in my opinion

Doherty 5.5 - poor game in my eyes, looks sluggish

Johnny 5.5 - poor for 70minw and was going to be replaced until we scored second with his help, then looked threat

Bennett 5 - iffy and will soon be fall guy after arsenal

Coady 7.0 - mainly in control, looked the england prospect tonight that people keep muting

Boly 6.5 - mainly in control

Mourinho 5 - not his usual self and awful at corners

Neves 6 - not great until hour mark then typo was up

Costa 4 - fancy flicks and step over dances non good when end product is garbage

Cava 5 - wasn’t really an impact and lost ball often

    Jiminez 6.5 - mixed bag

    Subs

Mgw 8.5 - our motm, changed game with his energy! I’ve always questioned him in not really impacting a game and just looking erm tidy! Today he showed me!!!

Bonatini 6 - nice link up for one penalty bar that ball didn’t really stick to him when had it or after

Proud of the lads but gutted by the result. Some terrible decisions AGAIN. The disallowed goal was not offside.
I wasn't dead in line but nearly so, and it definitely looked a legal goal to me. The first half was disappointing, quite apart from the two poor goals conceded. We just didn't have enough directness or urgency. MGW changed all that in the second half and I think he has to start. Beautiful pass for Costa's amazing miss. We just have to be more aggressive from the off, not give too much respect to the opposition. Spurs' looked very rocky as soon as we took the game to them -- too late!

That goal kick annoyed me. He messed it up first time but they let him take it again. When a player messes a throw-in up the other team gets the throw instead, so why can't they do it so it's a corner instead?!

Just back to my parents so a quick verdict

Tottenham played on our weaknesses in the first half, they pressed Patricio into poor kicking, realised Bennett is poor on the ball and exploited this.

When Nuno switched to 352 we looked miles better. MGW man of the match. Moutinho looked immobile, looked like he needs a rest.

Kane was class but a cheat, constantly hanging off the defenders.

Second half miles better but we fizzled out.

    Our forwards still lack incisiveness.

The gulf in class was as expected, we should be proud we adapted and made the result respectable.

One final word for the Spurs fans that spoiled the moment of reflection for Leicester. Yes it was a little unclear as to what was going on but to start chanting 20 seconds into what is clearly a minute silence is downright disrespectful and inexcusable. All because they bottled the league two years ago.

That's the second time I've been disgusted by opposition supporters in 6 months and guess what, they're both cockneys.

I think it is a ludicrous rule getting to re take a goal kick if you control it in own area ....

But then the team didn’t re focus . The first two goals were a shambles defensively , and lamela shouldnhave scored another if it wasn’t for a bad touch

    MGW excellent, as was Coady.

Spurs outplayed us for the first half bur we dominated the second.
As usual too many missed chances that cost us dear plus a linesman robbing us of a goal.

We played well but three losses on the bounce and a very tough match coming up. We need points and perhaps its time for the likes of MGW and Dendonker to be given a chance. Also Traore should be given 30 minutes not 13 minutes.
I think we may need two new central strikers in January if we want to progress.

Spurs Verdict: We will both be in the same league next season, probably finish in the same half of the table this season and we will win exactly the same amount of trophies in 2019.

It was a general comment that he often only gets 15 mins or so to make an impact, which is a big ask.
