Quote from the fans comments section of tonight's E&S:

"Poor tactics, poor substitutions, poor performance. It's the story of recent performances I'm afraid. Decent points total but can't rely on luck forever. Would like to see us bring in Jimmy Bullard in January. Reminds me of some of the lads in the 60's when players rolled up their sleeves and worked for the team, too many primadonnas like Ikeme and Kightly at the moment."

Where on earth do you start with $$$$$$$$ like that!? Ikeme a primadonna - have you ever heard anything so ludicrous?:D

How on earth has he come to the conclusion that Ikeme is a primadonna???????????????????

Jimmy Bullard? Oh, come on. Maybe if we go up, but even then we probably wouldn't stand a chance because he'd go to an established club.

Did we win the game on Saturday because honestly, i think some people seem to think we lost about 8-0.

To anyone who thought we were poor on Saturday, we were but we still WON the game. We are not going to play like we did against Forest every week.

If I had to scale them I would say Kightly is closer. Have heard little things about the way he walks around the club. Not to say that is anything more than confidence though.;)

To be fair, I met the team before an away game recently and Ikeme did come across as a bit of an $$$$! Kighty, however, did not.

Kightly is one of the most down to earth footballers I have ever come across, Ikeme not so much so though. He's not on par with the Kenny Millers, Nathan Blakes and Paul Inces however!

Murray is surely worth a mention there as well, Olofinjana was a very nice bloke too.

The worst two I've come across during Mick's time are Darron Gibson and Freddy Eastwood - the first basically ignoring fans who asked for an autograph and the second happy to divulge his private club life to the fans saying how he was incredibly frustrated at not playing and couldn't fathom why (the time I went to the training ground was March-ish when SEB and Keogh had a good partnership going). That has been debated to death though.

You can add SEB to that list - quite an arrogant so and so!

Doesn't strike me as arrogant - he seems to get his head down in training but doesn't converse too much with the fans when he's signing autographs and having pictures done, that means nothing though.

Agree he keeps himself to himself, but he does walk with a certain swagger and when not intending to be in the public eye he (appears) to look down on people - found him to be quite dismissive.

There again that could just be 'shyness' - I could be doing him a massive disservice and if I am then ...sorry!

I would just put it down to shyness myself, the two times I've been up the training ground he has never struck me as arrogant! People are perceived in different ways though.

I'm sure the express and star makes this stuff up. Could anyone be so stupid and delusional, molineux mix hasn't even seen such nonsensical ramblings, well, other than kazzzz, glasgow, salewolf, ulven, etc

I'm not sure why but most seem to have got it in to their heads that Kightly has started to act a bit billy big time and started to believe his own hype. If this were true I'm pretty sure Mick wouldn't take that and he'd be off in January/not in the team - and before anybody mentions it's because he's important to our team, I think Mick has stated before that he doesn't care if a player is just technically good - they need the attitude to match the good ability.

    Probably an Albion fan.

  18. I don't think that Mighty Mickey is fully fit and hasn't been for some time. However, he obviously loves playing football and would play on one leg if Mick let him.

Great bloke. A one game rest will do him good and if Jarvis is on the other wing when he plays again there's a good chance he'll be back to his old self.

I met Dave Edwards and Wayne Hennessey in Cardiff after a Wales game and both were great lads, I chatted for a while about the Wales match before telling them I supported Wolves as well and both were then very interested to have a good chat with me and Mrs CW.

I think it is well worth reiterating that football is all about confidence.

Confident footballers therefore will often seem/look or even be arrogant.

As long as they deliver on the pitch and deserve their place in the team that is what matters.

Whilst I would agree that it is wonderful when a player is arrogantly confident and highly effective on the pitch, yet when they meet us the fans, they turn out to be really affable and friendly down to earth sort of chaps who cant wait to buy us a pint and chat about the beautiful game then IN THE REAL WORLD...

Of yesteryear i always found tony daley to be an intelligent and thoughtful chap who would always have time for fans, whereas david kelly was an idiot that seemed to think he was the new bully and deserving of god-like status, when he was a $$$$ supporting $$$$ that wasn't fit to lace his boots.

I think Kites is a smashing lad.

Regards his form, has anyone not realised he generally has two on him nowadays as he is perceived as our main threat. Whilst his game may be stifled, others should and do prosper.

I am sure this is an Albion fan, he posts this type of c**p all of the time. Now most posters just ignore the tosh he writes so his postings are getting increasingly bizarre. The one previously (after loads of people pointed out he was a berk) suggested that the reason he moved to Torquay was so that he didn't have to live in Wolverhampton as everyone was a retard....hope we see him at a game some day (but I bet we wont)
