I've included as many as possible - such as those for whom fans weren't alive at the time but will very likely to have seen them on film or on the other thread (see OT) about this (which is why I've included them as examples) or they've been reasonably recently and so live in the memory. You can vote for three but you can't see what the rolling score is until you've voted...and you can't change your mind.
The poll will run for 2 weeks. Sorry to those who I haven't included, I had a shortlist of 12 but could only include ten so ruled out Craddock v Bradford and Kennedy v Gillingham as he already had one in the list.

Thanks for voting but we still have a couple of weeks to go and I'll occasionally bump the thread up the list.

I tried my best to accommodate as wide a spectrum as possible based on popularity and where there was footage or those goals we should be able to remember with no bias towards my own preferences. ;)

Being from Leicester originally mine is not on the list. Camaras winner in the 4-3. What a comeback!

Robbie Dennison goal against Everton was an absolute screamer, two goalkeepers would not have saved it.

Mate, if a link had ben provided I would have considered it. I tried to be fair to all those who contributed so those that provided links for days gone by goals had a slight advantage.

King John's winner at Wembley 1974 is my favourite all time goal. As a 13 year old it was like the whole world around me exploded in euphoria.

I’d have gone Alex Rae too, but voted SEB.

Similarly, Andy Keoghs goal at Derby was one that had me believing we’d actually get there.

Dougan's overhead flip, turn and volley into the cowshed goal on his debut against Hull (was it '66?) is my favorite.

Andy Gray League Cup final v Forest.

Definitely the worst goal on the list, but for pure euphoria, occasion and shock value it can’t be beaten.

Created an account purely to ask a question on this subject.

Does anyone remember a Robbie Dennison goal against Albion in the early 90s (1991?).

I have a vague recollection of it being an absolute belter but I've never seen it since on TV or on the web.

John Richards goal against Liverpool in the 74 League cup run when we had the 3 day week and had to play in the daylight not under the floodlights, saving energy?

The dummy by Kelly to get past the centre back, the perfectly weighted pass to Goodman, Goodman keeping control of the ball at full pace, the inch perfect cross for Kelly to execute a perfect diving header.

It would only have taken one thing to be slightly out of place and we wouldn't have scored. Everything was perfect

    My top 3 in order.

    1. Rae at Reading.
    2. Bullys winner at Albion.
    3. Bullys winner at home to Blues.

Each one was a real mental moment.

I wagged the afternoon off school for the game - the bus from wyrley would have been full but the school had warned the bus company and the driver wouldn't let us on. However I did get a lift with my mate and his dad.

Wagging from school in those days was a corporal offence and if you got caught it was the cane. Any one who went to wyrley at that time would remember the head Mr Sweet (affectionately know as sucker) and his deputy Mr Palmer. I was lucky enough to be called to Mr Sweet's office and given a real rollicking for wagging the afternoon those who saw Mr Palmer had the cane.

    Win win for me

How about that David Jones goal against Spurs in a 1-0 win after 18 passes, that was a cracker. Complete opposite to the Kelly goal. Loved David Jones, really unappreciated by some.

Yeah, I mentioned that one in the o/p of my first thread about this as memorable goals which I remember - midweek game wasn't it? I'd forgotten how many passes it was and thought it was 23 but I'll stand to be corrected. It was 18 then was it?

I've bumped this to attract more votes and then will shortly arrange a final poll of the highest four to be selected by one vote per poster to discover an outright winner.

    I voted in no order...

Kennedy vs Sheff Utd - speaks for itself - the coms on the dvd...

Blakes flick, Millers chase, Jagielka back peddling, came to KENNEDYYYYYYYYY (long pause as crowd goes wild) WOLVES ARE FLYING! Mark Kennedt with the purest zippiest strike you’ll ever see!

Bully vs Blues - IMO the biggest mentaller at ‘New’ Molineux

SEB vs Charlton - Watched it back afew times the other day, disgustingly good. Think sometimes its forgotten just how good he was at this level. Special mention for another mentaller when Henry grabbed the winner in that game.

I could only list what folk had posted at the time, AndyW. I tried to be as circumspect about the ten selection goals as possible with them being based on the number of posters who mentioned them. I think the top four will be a reasonable reflection of what we as a whole will generally think are worthy goals to vote on...or at least I hope they will be.

It's only my opinion :) I realise others think other goals are better. It's why football is great, we all see the same thing but have massively different opinions
