Wolves do not have a good record against Southampton. Our last 11 games against them have resulted in 2 draws and 9 defeats.

We have to go back all the way to 1980 for our last victory against them.

One way and another it is not going to be an easy game to win, and it will not be a major disaster if we lose, it is a 46 game season.

It will be interesting to see, if we should lose, just how nay supporters will panic. [IMG]

Let's hope we don't find out.

After last nights game in particular I think alot of people are
starting to come around to the same sort of thinking, but we must stay
positive. I believe that the mindset of the players in a friendly game
is completley different to that of a competitive game and nobody
    know's that more than GH.

Everyone has seen the evidence of GH's positive vibes on the team and he
will prepare the team mentally in time for the s'ton game. At the
moment lets just hope that the physical preperation goes as planned and
there are no injuries that we can use as a excuse for poor results.

I don't think there will be time for panic with a home
game following so quickly - on the Tuesday and
another home game on the Saturday

Obviously if we don't win at least 2 of those games I
can imagine some posters calling the next game -
Leeds away Glennns last chance........Edited by: westlyNTR

Before last season, we hadn't beaten Brighton away ever! If I were a Saints fan, I'd have genuine cause to indulge in some pant-wetting.

True. Let's hope we crack this one. I sill have't forgotten the 9-3 in 1965. We certainly owe them one

    I'll panic.

Not because I'll have given up on the season, but living down here, I would be dreading the weeks of jibes that would doubtless follow such a result. [IMG]

But it's not going to happen (please, God!) so no problems.

Or the 2-6 in 1976/77. We owe them two.

How about a good omen - I am going to 2 of the first 3 games
(Southampton/Hull), and we haven't won for the last 6 games I've
attended. Therefore I reckon I'm due at least one win. Probably two.

Either that or I'm a terrible curse and should never be allowed to attend a game again....[IMG]

They won't have Kevin "freefall"Phillips up front to win them any penalties this time, or Uriah Rennie to give them (please no Uriah Rennie).

Yes I could do with getting thumped by Soton if we win the League again.

Don't worry- the law of averages will see us right and we'll win to balance things up a bit.
