Is this still a thing? Just thinking ahead to Boxing Day as I won’t have enough points for away tickets. Looking at their ticket website they seem to make it clear that away fans not in the away end will be ejected (looking at the info for the Leicester and Southampton games). But then elsewhere on the site it talks about a “mixed” area where fans from abroad can go. Anybody any ideas? (Although looking at their prices I’m not sure it’s a good idea anyway!)

People who want to use my address in Yorkshire feel free and I'll post tickets on? Why do clubs assume fans only live in the locality of the teams they support?!

So really it looks like the answer to my opening question is ‘No’. It would just be like blagging your way into the home section of any ground. Shame. It was always a strangely unique concept - but quite a handy one.

    Just a heads up @Tom

Fulham, versus West Ham are charging home fans £55-75.

To sit on the opposite side of the segregation of the away fans will cost you £60.

I don't know if this will affect your decision making.

    Disgusting prices.

Unfortunately it probably is, unless of course you've sat in there in previous seasons.
****ed me up as well, bare in mind though, that it's a 1230 ko on Boxing Day, trains up the creak etc, it could be worth advertising you want tickets for this game via the thread at the top of the page or keep checking on here as I'm guessing there will be a few up for grabs in the away section!

**** Fulham. Fulham being a good away day is the biggest myth since the bible.

Over priced beer and a **** stadium and an over crowded concourse and the contracted stewards are pricks

Am I right in thinking the away end and neutral section share both entrances and concourses within the stand? My last visit was with Punjabi Wolves and is slightly hazy.

I don’t know what stand is what but those prices are a disgrace regardless. Something really does need to be done about the cost of football tickets.

Yes shared access, loos and bars, we've been in there previous seasons when its been a couple of quid extra - but looks like away end this year.

Putney end is away / neutral end Mr Wolf.

Hate their stewards, too quick to kick off. Lots of pubs up both sides of the river, got pretty ****ered last few times.

Spot on this in fact last time I went it was a **** away day after those ***** stewards got me wrongfully arrested before I’d even made it into the stand

    This

I know they can’t segregate it so just make it all away fans.

    ****ing neutral section!

Those prices are shocking! I suppose it's quite a posh area though so people round there can afford it, doesn't make it right though. At the end of the day football should be affordable for everyone, those kinda prices aren't gonna encourage new fans. Mind you neither is their performance on the pitch!

As for the neutral zone last year I would guess it was 95% Wolves fans when we played there, so it was hardly neutral. It's a nice idea when you're playing teams like Burton and Rotherham and you know all the away fans who wanna go to the game will be in the away bit, once you get the bigger teams buying it all and turning it into an extra away end it's probably more hassle.

Agree about Fulham not being a great away day either, when we went last season the stewards were ridiculously fussy and the prices were a joke.

Last season the stewards were trying to turn me away pre match, said I was to drunk. Joke, I was fine. Did beer boat pre match so had a few but nothing that bad.
Pathetic, turning people away willy nilly, i saw loads get turned away that day.

They've still got to give us 3k tickets haven't they? Or is it 10% of stadium capacity or the 3k max?

I found it interesting reading all the comments. It reminded me that football is an ideal refuge for people who have achieved absolutely nothing in their lives and are totally insignificant. These people get themselves into positions like stewards and then start imposing themselves on others as control freaks. Over the years, I have experienced situations at Charlton, Brentford, QPR and Portsmouth which are nothing short of invasion of human rights. The situations at Charlton and QPR were more down to arrogant, ignorant policing with the police at QPR ending up in bringing in mounted officers to try to control a serious situation which was entirely their fault. Anyone who was at the fiasco of the fire drill at Portsmouth will have witnessed the utterly useless ability of some of these people to use anything remotely resembling common sense.

Football needs a regulator to set and enforce minimum standards on clubs and make them accountable. Until that happens, these control freaks will continue to try to spoil the match day experience. Having said that I have met some very helpful stewards, but the bad ones need to be removed.

Yeah they threw my mate out at the turnstiles for being drunk it was then that I argued his case and questioned the decision next thing I know they're gripping me up and holding me till police arrived.

Case was dropped the first time I answered bail as police agreed from the stewards body cam showed I wasn't aggressive or anything just argumentative (me? never!).

What I didn't know at the time but found hilarious is my daft mate was thrown out walked round paid another £30 to get in again and was thrown out for a 2nd time as they watched him haha.

To be fair mate I do like the look of the ground and might think differently if I'd ever made it in.

I've attempted to go 3 times

    Once was at QPR
Once we were on the **** round London and hadn't got tickets (was pay on the day), realised at about 2.30pm we weren't making kick off (was somewhere random like Hackney!)
And once I got inside the turnstiles and then nicked.

Seen some great matches at Fulham heart breakers and just brillant performances. What about losing in the last min due to Berra foul just outside the box was gutted .Than the 6 nil thrashing under Terry O'Connor plus it was freezing.
On the other hand loved the night game when we came up under KJ there was a great spirit between team and supporters.Henry scored a beauty just outside box. Missed some others but generally not dull.

Distinctly remember two great performances there in recent years.

The 1-0 mauling we dished out first season back in the Championship after promotion from L1. Lee Evans looked a world beater in central midfield - dined out on that performance for the remainder of his Wolves career.

Then I think the next season we returned as distinct under dogs and blew them away with a 3-0 win, think all the goals coming in the 2nd half.

Last season not so much fun, but as with our Villa loss, they may have won the battle but we won the war.

That was the game when Henry scored great performance all round .The 3 nil was the O'Hara game helped by Cairney being sent off in first half .

Me too Edgy, usually have good banterr with the Stewards both inside & outside the ground, they always seem to have a good sense of humour - suppose they have to with all their American fans - will miss the Neutral end as it was great sitting between German & Norweigen Wolves fans & having different natter with them.
First year I went there both Bobby Moore & George Best were playing for them

The stewards were picking people out as they came through the turnstiles. It was completely random because my recollection is that we were totally ****ed to a man.
What (if anything) happened to the four Fulham fans who stood by the exit chanting "Top of the league, you're 'avin a laugh" as we left?
