I know some of you watch the team train , so may know the answer. Most of training I imagine involve team games and playing together, but doayers receive individual training on their weaknesses?

What makes me ask is the way you see kmac awful shooting and van la parra struggling to hold the ball up Among other weaknesses for other players.

Now k mac shooting to me hasn't improved since he has been at the club , he is a centre mid and for me should be capable of working the keeper. Time and time again yiu see him spoon it over with his head all over the place and his foot not exactly drilling the ball or finesing it.

Do players get individual coaching on stuff like this?

On a side note, our throw in routines are Sunday league level most of the time . Another thing which needs some coaching

KMac frustrates with his shooting ability, he can thread a pass through the eye of a needle but mostly all of his shots clear the stands, I don't think it's a technical issue as the guys is a good technical player, I think it's a mindset he has.

McDonald's body position is all wrong when he shoots, far too open. I've seen him hit some absolute rockets, if he could get them on target he'd get 6-7 goals a season I reckon.

There was one against Brentford I think this season, it was off target but if the goalkeeper had tried to save it, it would have snapped his fingers in half.

I remember that volley that hit the crossbar. Would have been a scorcher.

A few years ago I managed to get to see a training session. Kevin Doyle was being given some extra work afterwards on his finishing from left wing crosses half-heartedly put to him as he stood around the penalty spot. No variety and no intensity at all. Needless to say there was no threat to the goal. We used to do more thoughtful 1-1 when I played at the Shoulder of Mutton in the Sunday League...
