    I'd go with

    TK
    Doc
    Hause
    Batth
Stearman (if fit other wise E-EL)
    Edwards
    Price
    Mcdonald
    Henry
    Sako
    Afobe

Subs: Mcreary, VLP, Dicko, Doyle. EEL(if Stearman unfit) Iorfa (if fit) Golbourne Evans.(if Iorfa not fit)

We will have to keep it tight for first 20 mins or so..Derby will be nervous after their recent run, would be great to score early just to give them the jitters but cant leave ourselves too open to the counter.

Why change a team that's just won 3-0?

Because Derby are a much better side than Wednesday and I fear we may be too light in the midfield area. Having Edwards energy in there to support defence and attack will be crucial. If we find ourselves a goal or two down with say 30 mins to play we can revert to type...

Nevermind worrying about what Derby can do, let's let Derby worry about what we can do!

Can't see Kenny changing a side that's just won 3-0.

However, surely he will realise that Derby are the best footballing team in the league, and are particularly strong in midfield.

I think Iorfa is easily better than Doherty but would be harsh to drop any defenders after Tuesday.

    Kuzza
    Doherty
    Batth
    Stearman
    Golbourne

    McDonald
    Price

    RVLP
    Edwards
    Sako

    Afobe

My problem with the above is that I think Dicko has to play but I don't know where to put him :(

People will disagree with RVLP's inclusion over Henry but he will offer pace on the break in a game I think Derby will dominate after they've dealt with our early onslaught.

If they are low on confidence, why sit back and allow them to have the ball and build up confidence?

Why not use our best side to ensure we impose our game on them from
the off, and go for that all important first goal!

Kennys instict will be to be cagey and probably bring Edwards in for Nouha!

If Stearman isn't fit we could pick either EEL, Haus or Iorfa in his place. Iorfa seems the more natural replacement to me....

Same team but with Golbourne in for Hause and Iorfa possibly for Doc if fit too.

Think it'll be too risky going 4-4-2 from the start given Derby play three in central midfield.

It's probably as good a time as any to play Derby given their recent run and injuries to key players (Martin, Mascarell) and various other injury doubts too.

    Henry, Price, McDonald, Sako
    Afobe
    Dicko

McCarey, EEL, Hause, Edwards, RVLP, Doyle, Evans/Iorfa

We gave them nothing to worry about when we set up defensively at Pride Park. Let's go at them as draws are no good at this stage of the season.

This. Can't not play Henry after his performance and goal on Tuesday, and always think Van La Parra would be best suiting exploiting a tiring defence with his pace. When he's running at people he's always effective, just gets bogged down with step overs and poor end product too often

Afobe and Dicko interchanging means we always have a threat up top

The only change should be Henry.

I wouldn't even consider playing Edwards - Derby press high. We need intelligent players who can use the ball.

It's a difficult one as you've really got to press Derby and stop them playing out from the back but you don't want to allow them to dominate in the middle and in turn do that to your defence.

Personally I'd match them up with a true 433, a gamble I know, but getting to that point where we have to take risks.

    Sako-Afobe-Dicko
    KMac-Price-Evans
    Golbourne-Batth-Stears-Iorfa
    Kusczak

I know that Evans is also a bit of risk but we need as much ability in the middle to keep the ball and have that front three doing all the pressing, once it gets to the midfield Derby will have the ability and options to play around our pressing (i.e. Edwards) midfielders.

I'd go for Iorfa too as despite Doherty playing well Derby have pace up front and so does Iorfa plus I think he's more likely to pin their winger back rather than the other way around.

Either Afobe or Dicko could be the wider player the key is that all three work hard and press across the Derby back line together.

I seriously doubt Evans will start another game this season. Be surprised if he even features from the bench. better options plus attitude problem...

I agree with those saying Henry should replace VLP.

The latter would be a killer sub to put on around the hour mark.

Overall I have a great deal of time for KJ and what he has achieved but this tinkering business really is an issue that bugs me at times.

That said if he achieves more success by doing so I suppose we shouldn't moan but there have been a few occasions this season where team selection has seemed odd.
