With the greatest of respect to Henry and VLP, we didn't get an awful lot from them yesterday, and both Iorfa and Golbourne add plenty of natural width coming from full back. I think if you let Price get on with his job of shielding the back four, which he has done excellently in recent weeks, and get McDonald and Evans pushed 10-15 yards further in front. It may mean we end up playing very narrow, but away from home recently we've played really well on the counter, and I think that front three would really enjoy doing so.

Didn't get a lot from the player who was only one who looked like creating anything?

Even if Sako is back most teams usually give players a week to reacclimatise so he certainly won't be playing next week.

If Sako's back Lingard into the middle, Sako on the left and Edwards on the bench.

If Lingard doesn't sign, we better have someone else in by the end of the week.

Amazed that anyone wouldn't include VLP. I think we mainly agree that he was the only one trying to create yesterday but didn't actually achieve much, but we are already suffering from a chronic lack of width on the left, why would we play with no width on the right as well?

I thought Henry was excellent at Blackburn and this is likely to be a fairly similar game, not like the home games. So I would go

    Ikeme
    Iorfa Batth Stearman Golbourne
    Price McDonald (maybe Evans)
    VLP Edwards Henry
    Dicko

Afobe for Edwards if we want to push on. Not going to include a player who we may or may not sign yet!

You may be right. He looked like he might create something but what exactly was his end result?

So most want to disrupt a back that has been rock solid especially away from home, and drop Edwards in favour of an unproven, as yet unsigned player who is yet to even train with the rest of the squad. Even though Edwards had been the match winner in 2 of the last 3 games. I don't get it.

I am not convinced we will get Jesse Lingard so here goes....

    Ikeme
    Iorfa Batth Stears Golbourne
    Evans Price
    RVLP Edwards Henry
    Dicko

Subs: Kuszchak, Doherty, Hause, McDonald, Jacobs, Bancessi, Afobe

I know alot of you wont agree with me but i cant help but think McDonald has been poor these last couple games, i think trying out Price and Evans in midfield will give us more creativity for the wingers and Dicko, and this should help McDonald push on, i couldnt really fault Price yesterday, thought he was top quality and i like Evans sometimes, just not consistent, give him a year or 2 and i think he will be a comfortable championship player.

We're unbeaten in 7. Looking good especially away from home on the counter. If it isn't working then we have Afobe and possibly Lingard on the bench

Away from home we are doing a lot better than at home. So the normal set-up is fine for away games, but not at home!

Would just bring in Goldbourne for Hause.

Henry was probably our best player at Blackburn, so would certailny keep him in.

Keep Afobe in too, keen and has some dynamism. Dicko still doesn't seem quite ready yet to me.

    So:
    Ikeme
    Iorfa
    Bahtt
    Stears
    Goldbourne
    Price
    MacDonald
    Edwards
    RVLP
    Henry
    Afobe.

We need a left footer on the left wing and not Henry. If Lingard is here play him on the left with RVLP on the right and Dicko up top.

Have to start Dicko over Afobe; admittedly his link up play with Sako is one of his best assets, but just think he has to be given the knod over Afobe. Afobe is a better player to bring off the bench than Dicko, as well.

Need to play dicko from the start, he tired defenders out. Then afoebe to come on at 65 mins and take the chances created after dicko has worn them out. Simple

Leave the defence alone to start with and why keep picking Lingard, he isn't even a Wolves player yet?

I'm normally one for saying leave the defence the same ; but this time I don't mind if he decides to put golbourne back in as he is great and will slot back in perfectly . He also gives us a bit more attacking threat which we have missed without sako.

I see Bolton have signed yet another striker in Adam Le Fondre!!

    Ikeme
    Iorfa Batth Stears Golborne
    Price Macca
    Edwards
    VLP Dicko Henry

If we do sign Lingard maybe swap him for Edwards but one bad game for Edwards isn't really enough to drop him for me
    Subs
The pole Hause Lingard/Edwards Afobe Jacobs Evans Doherty
