VLP being barged over was more of a penalty.

Stearman. Utter nonsense, the ramblings of a manager under pressure whose side have just been battered. Fulham were utter garbage, they got what they deserved.

Symons seems to think they were the better side second half. Not what I have been told and read on here.

What you on about the handball first half?

Ball had gone well over his head when the diver went down

Hmmm, I missed the Stearman handball....but my lads were laughing about it when I came back, they seemed to think Stearman had clearly handled.

He seems to be confusing having 2/3 of the possession, passing the ball in triangles in your won half whilst creating the grand sum of sod all with being the better team.

After 5 minutes you could see they weren't going to cause us any problems. They had no plan B either. 3-0 down with 10-15 minutes to go and they were still trying to pass it into our bet.

The bloke didn't even look at the ball just steamed into the back of VLP.

From side on for me there wasn't that much contact and VLP went down too easily and none of the players made a fuss just the fans to be fair .

I thought the Stearman one in the 1st half was handball tbh. One of those "seen them given" ones.

I thought they had half a shout for one in the 2nd half. Though the ref should have blown for a foul on Kuszack immediately before that.

Fulham had plenty of chances but were utterly awful in front of goal, thankfully! That's what £11m gets you ;-)

From side on it looked like it hit Stearman on his side.Symons was on the other side and further away than me so how the heck can he say it was stonewall ?

I'm at the very back of the NB, so it's a long way to the SB penalty area :) But facing it straight on it looked like it could have been given.

Anyway, who cares... we won 3-0 :)

I agree and as you said it could have been given and hardly stonewall as Symons said.

From where I was in the South Bank not too far from being in line with it there was plenty of force and you could clearly see the player looking at VLP and not the ball.

Thank god we don't have a manager who sugar coats a performance like that. The comments from Symons are absolutely laughable, they had all the ball but did nothing with it. Jackett totally out thought him by playing narrow as that worked in the second half of the cup and they had no way through. Yes they had a couple of chances first half but he should be livid with the total lack of urgency from his side second half, Rotherham showed more fight at 5-0 down with a fraction of the ability on the pitch that Fulham would have if they applied themselves.

It looked like handball to me and I'm level with the Wolves dugout, so can see how he thougth it was a penalty.

The RVLP one was one of the most blatant pushes in the box I've ever seen, and how on earth that wasn't given I'll never know. Anywhere else on the pitch it's a free kick, so why if it's in the penalty area is it not given... but then don't get me started on shielding the ball out of play for a goal kick!

Fair enough but from where we were sat in the SB it didn't look much.

As I said on Sedgley's post fair enough but from where we sit in the SB it didn't look handball or much of a push.

Just a case of Symons making a fuss to try and disguise the fact under his guidance Fulham are a God awful side.

There were a few chuckles in the BW when Stears blocked the ball which gave me the impression we might have got away with one! The lino had the best view and gave nothing. Who cares though!

I thought It was handball If It was us on the receiving end I'd certainly would be upset about it not been given.

If your are on the lower level of the Billy Wright then you can't be too far away from me.

If it is the one I'm thinking of, Stearman in the first half, a couple of Fulham players appealed, so I looked across to the Fulham bench, nobody appealed. So much for a 'stonewall' penalty, Symons didn't even appeal for it...

My pet hate! A bit of shoulder to shoulder and easing the attacker away is fine, but they do it when the balls trundling slowly, it's blatant bloody obstruction, making no attempt to play the ball just the man! chuff chuff chuff etc. etc. etc.

It just seems accepted as ok to block an attacking player getting to the ball if it's going out for a goal kick - I just don't understand...

Jonzy, is there a rule we don't know about?

If you look at the Fulham highlights it does very much look like a handball by Stears.

The ball has to be in playing distance and doesn't allow you to block off with the ball well in front of you.

I liked the way the only Fulham players who appealed for it were in the other half
