Delph walked into the Villa team today ahead of these 2, surely 1 or both will wantaway now. Both have experience of the league which is what we were apparently after according to Jez and Mick before the transfer window open.

Are they worth a punt, centre midfield was ok today but these 2 are a class above what we have.

I thought Henry and Milijas were both good today. Edwards on the other hand...

Yeh i agree they looked ok, good balance but you cant argue we lack quality depth and no doubt 1 of these would improve our starting 11

Reo-Coker over Henry maybe. Milijas will prove to be an excellent player and will be very important for us this season. I predict he'll get 8 goals before the season is done.

Villa don't have a large squad and wouldn't let them go at the moment - Delph will not be a regular. Either would be excellent additions to the squad. Henry played well today but he needs strong competition. M'Bami perhaps if he appears next week. Harper may come back into the reckoning also although I don't see him adding real quality.

I'd definitely take either given the chance, not that I can imagine that chance coming to us!

If Henry plays like he did against West Ham every week neither of those would get a sniff. His endeavour was inspiring and i think he allowed our flair players- Milijas, Jarvis, Keogh- to really attack West Ham. It's just a shame we couldn't convert the chances that so often spawned from a Henry challenge.

Couldn't agree more wolfyjoe. Henry was magnificent, we are not far away from being a real premier team,.

Agree with the Henry comment, I would like to see 1 more midfielder as cover, I cant see us getting Reo-Coker or Sidwell due to wages/contract/price and the fact that they will want to be playing regularly which Mick will not guarantee to anybody (fair play to him).
My biggest concern is still centre half, but those comments are for the other thread !

Reo-Coker has developed from MKDons so our guys should be able to step up the mark too. I do not think Reo-Coker is the answer, though I do rate him. This is all about belief and Jarvis showed a distinct lack during the game whilst Keogh and Milijas for instance went for it and I thought they played well.

Anyone who thinks either of them are available, let alone that we'd be able to attract them, is seriously deluded. Villa have a small enough squad as it is.

If either were availble, i would pick them up and drive them to Molineux myself.
