My son lives in London and attends many games home and away. He has delayed ordering a ticket for Boxing Day against Sheffield United and now finds that we are sold out.

    Can anyone help please?

Poo. I was going to ring for a ticket tomorrow as well. Didn't think we'd sell the last 1000 in 24 hours!

Would love a ticket, if there's any going spare.

I'm stuck up in Aberdeen for Uni. So I try to go to every game I can when I'm back; not happy to hear this is sold out, as I'm not back in the area for very long at all, so this is one of just three chances.

So if anyone has a spare (or two or three), I'd love to get my hands on them.

    Thanks.

I know this thread is about tickets for boxing Day but I have just found out that I have a spare ticket for Doncaster. Anyone intersted? It is in the corner area, not behind the goal. I paid £15.00 but it is a concession as the tab have been torn off. So you either have to be or look aged 60.

What is the crack now with half season ticket sales. Got a few mates who were going to get them this weekend as XMas presents, but now Sheffield United is sold out there isn't much value in getting one.

    ??
    How much are they then?
I'm sure it must be more than one "free" game.

You got 11 games for the price of 9 which included the Sheffield game. Now if you qualify for an early bird with a half season ticket then it is still good value.

Unless you class "not being stuck without a ticket again this season" as having any value !!!

It seems they may still be holding a few back for half season tickets, alternatively you are being offered an extra ticket for the Preston Game, and yes in the past you have always been able to buy an early bird.

Good point Nightfall. Getting a half season ticket would guarantee you a ticket next year if we get up. Can't see you being able to get a cheap ticket behind one of the goals next year without a season ticket. Actaually same thing happened at Reading when they went up. Ground was half empty when we played them that season and was told by the stewards that all seats were taken up but empty ones were by people paying to get a seat for their first year in the Prem but couldn't be arsed to watch the Championship games. Sums up Reading and their fans.

They must be holding a few back. I called up about getting 3 season tickets and they said that the tickets for Sheffield would be changed as a result so their must be spares. Probably worth calling over the weekend.

I think this thread also serves to illustrate to those that weren't sure about whether we should expand the ground's capacity or not that it would be foolish not to. The support is there, its just creating the right conditions to maximise on attendance each game.

According to my girl in the T.O. tickets for the Sheff. United game are rarer than the proverbial rocking horse poo but I would have thought that Half Season tickets were still available.

Another one wanted here if anyone can help... Was supposed to get one for my Dad and i forgot!! He hasn't missed a home game this season but I buy him a ticket every year for Boxing day and before I had chance this year they'd sold out. Seems a lot of us missed out hey.

    Long shot I know...

I would imagine Sheff U will be close to selling out their allocation.
Will be interesting to see what gate Wolves announce.
    Around 27k I'd say...

I should be receiving 7 tickets but the box office cocked up, sent them second class and they won't arrive in time as I'm off back to wolves for Christmas tomorrow. Morons!

Now I've got to go queue up at the ticket office before kick off to get them.

I thought that I had managed to get a ticket for my son but Im not confident now that it will materialize. In the meantime I have missed some that were on offer.

I guess its a long shot now but if anyone could help Id be very grateful.

I think the mods have given up on us. Either that or they are performing a social experiment.
