If you have seen the weather forecast for this Saturday you may need your wellies and your brollies. Sympathy with those in the Graham Hughes stand as you could be in for a right old drenching
Just hope it doesn’t spoil the spectacle of what really should be a cracking cup tie

I'm in there this weekend. Don't really mind as I'm just pleased to be going. However, what's the deal with raincoats. Do they give you one of those big plastic bags to chuck on?

They don't mate. You could buy one or fashion something out of your bags-for-life.

Yeah although it’s not always brilliantly organised once I got offered one right at the top of the steps as went through to seat another time just got lucky noticed a crowd around a steward who was waiting for a new box full.

    40mph gusts and torrential rain.

Going to make the game a lottery and will probably favour United.

Supposedly they do. The one time I've been in there and it rained, they ran out.

And not many places at all inside as no concourse. Can be pretty miserable if chucking it down. Like Gillingham or Pompey away.

    Eh???

Light rain throughout the day.....rain adds to and assists the possible and potential drama of an exciting cup tie.

Have we all gone soft suddenly??

Having now wangled the day off work, if anyone finds the idea of getting drenched too off-putting, I could gladly save you the inconvenience.

Is there anywhere covered we can have our pre game tinnies? A spacious bus shelter possibly?

Supermarkets sell them. And Jade I know you're too hardy to complain about some drizzle, but those scared of a little rain can pop it in their handbags.

Surely rain and wind will favour us anyway? While both good footballing teams, I imagine we're going to be the ones trying to "shove it up 'em" early doors.

The forecast on the Beeb site appears to have now caught up with what the OP was saying.

Light all day earlier then heavy rain from 5 - 9 pm.:(

Well there was a little kid of 7 at his first ever baptism at the Mol. Wolves v Bournmouth in the rain sodden corner. He jumped above everyone when Cavaleiro scored. Didnt see anyone leaving either.

One report I've just seen suggests loads of rain overnight and most of the day, but for the duration of the match it might be taking a breather - just giving you time to get into a nice pub! COYW :)

It would have done back when we were the plucky underdog looking for a giant killing

Old cup cliché, the weather being called "a leveller" - probably hinders both sides tomorrow
