Towards the start of the season, myself and my match attending mate had a discussion regarding replica tops. We were walking down Waterloo Road on our way to the match when in front of us was an obese gentleman wearing the current home top with "WE 8 ALBION" and "THE SOUTH BANK" on the back, and both agreed he looked a bit of a joke figure. This man must have been at least 45 years old, he had tattoo's down each arm and a couple of ***** looking kids either side of him, laughing (a bit too loud for it to be genuine) at his jokes and joining in with the chants he started as they walked down the street. The 2 youths were also wearing Wolves tops, which as they couldn't have been over 18, didn't look as bad as it could and does do. We've all done it, but most of us (well, the ones with a bit of style) grow out of it when we leave our teenage years. My question to the mix is, what, in your opinion, is the acceptable age where by a supporter should really stop wearing replica tops?
