Reason for postponement?

Discussion in 'Molineux Mix Archive' started by EddieClamp-tops, Jan 5, 2009.

  1. According to the radio this morning Blooze were happy to have the match off because it helped one/some of their squad players' injury recovery....

Not enough work done on the pitch overnight, allegedly, compared with some other clubs who were very keen to have their matches on - Macclesfield (against Everton) were given as an example.

Very difficult to prove of course!

I wouldn't get caught up in conspiracy theories....I am happy just to credit them with being a horrible grubby little club with $$$$ poor resources....

In their vicinity, Albion and Cov got their games on, Macclesfield fans even worked through the night to ensure their game was on.

This weekend Birmingham City Football Club have been exposed as the laughing stock of English football.

That happened years ago mate, this weekend they compounded their position.

I hope our fans suitably take the $$$$ if/when they eventually get the game on.

That wouldn't have been talk sport when Alan Brazil was just speculating and saying that teams in the past had done it? would it? His side kick Porky Parry put it down to laziness. Both just idle speculation really. But a damn poor show whatever.

Can't help you specifically mate as I won't be driving, nor do I come from that area.

Just to say that New Street is about 20-30 minute walk from St Andrews for average walking speed. Or perhaps you could get a taxi from St Andrews to New Street if you get no better offers?
