Who is your player of 2008 out of the current Wolves squad?

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake for me - brought something to the team that we'd been crying out for for months on end, 27 goals in a calendar year is impressive as well. Plus it's nice to finally have someone who can consistently score penalties.

Best signing has to be SEB as he was the player we most needed. I'm not nervous when he takes penalties and he doesn't miss opportunities that all our other forwards have done since Steve Bull (excluding Sturridge for about a three month period, and Miller for around six months).

Best player though has to be Foley, whilst SEB is an exceptional talent occasionally he goes missing, not that often mind, but Foley has been class all year.

Absolute mind reader sir... i like Ward's professionalism, play anyway just happy to be on the pitch approach. Hes a pretty accomplished player too. Not a world beater but more than adequate right across the park at this level.

I trust him as a player (just not in the striking role)

    SEB for me

45 appearances since he signed- 27 goals

Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong, but im pretty certain that at our current level that is a better goals per game record than Bully ever had

Foley just for consistency. Might have been Jarvis if he had been fit for more games though.

Has to be SEB for me, the player we have been missing and has made such an impact in under a year....quite remarkable.

Great to have so many candidates. You couldn't argue with Foley or Henry either.

    S. Ward...done everything MM has asked of him. Taken stick from the fans doing it but battled on and now is the fan's darling in his new position. Even when he fills in at left wing he inspires with his all or nothing attitude.

SEB, Foley, Stears, Wardy & Iwelumo all deserve immense credit and the keepers have been good too. Kites And Jarvis could also be up there soon.

What no central midfielders??? Thought most thought they were good enough to get us up??

SEB. He has taken Wolves from a team that didn't score to being the highest scorers in the country within one year.

Bully scored 27 goals in both the 1989/90 and 1990/91 seasons. he did that in 48 games in both seasons. I cant find out the amount of goals he scored in the calendar years, but there wouldnt be a lot of difference from Blake. Seb managed 25 from 45 appearances last season. I`d like to see the stats without penalties too. Bullys best goals hauls were 58 in 52 apps in 87/88 and 50 in 55 apps in 88/89 which is bloody awsome.

As for player of 2008, its S.Ward for me. The be so despised by most of the crowd and to turn it around and become a crucial player for us is a brilliant achievment.

I'd have to go for SEB, As a striker they obviously get more credit than defenders and Foley has played well, But Seb's goals last season and this season so far tips the scales for me.
