    From BBC Website:

Charlton have appointed caretaker boss Phil Parkinson as their new manager on a permanent basis.

"Parkinson has won three points from the eight games he has been in charge for."

Have they actually won a match yet? It's been about 2 months.

    They've admitted defeat. Relegation beckons.

Charlton season ticket holders are totally bemused by the decision..part of Pardews regime and done nothing different since he took over - either they are totally potless or have given up on the Championship.

Maybe we should get matt holland until the end of the season from them.

well..... From what i saw of him last season i`d still take him. Just the kind of experienced player we need. Havent seen him this season so i dunno how he has been playing. Would have been a great signing for us 4-5 years ago.

Just because charlton are doing badly doesnt mean he is. Cant really think of any decent players they have left now.

Holland wanted to stop darn sarf from what I remember.

Thinking back does anybody else remember a TV program where Charlton were held up as a paragon of how a football club should be run and they swapped senior managers with Plymouth for a week?

How times change eh, if they drop I think it might take them a while to get back out of the third division

I recall watching a program on Sky Sports Xtra (I think it was) where they looked back on the 2003/04 season and at this time in that season they were about 4th or 5th in the Premier League. How the mighty have fallen.

If we want to steal a midfielder off Charlton, wouldn't Nicky Bailey be a better option?

Bouazza isn't Charlton's player, he belongs to Fulham.

Hasn't done much for 3-4 years now, he's another McAnuff.

Bailey is another edwards, not the kind of player we need. Holland will remain on the coaching staff there.
